Trying to find some freelance work on the site

Hello everyone.

I registered here mainly for the "Hire a freelancer" subforum, since I have good skills with web scraping and programming in general. But it looks like you need some kind of special status to post there. Right now I can't post there or PM anyone.

So, will I be able to at least PM people once I reach some number of posts? I read somewhere it's 15.

Edit: just now I noticed that maybe Newbies corner would have been a better place to post this.
