1 Is there free consultations for advertising and project planning and executing?

    Daduna4444,

Even though you think you have something that the whole world will love, its best to start small and grow larger. If you try to be everything to everyone all at once, you are more likely to not please anyone. That being said, no matter what product or service you have, there is still a target market for it. There may be objects and services that the majority of people in civilized societies use however not everyone is receptive to the same messages. Have you done any research on your target market? If you haven't I would start there. The more focused you are on your market, the more successful you will be. If you try to take a shotgun approach, this will not work. You have to know your audience and you must make a connection with them.

If your project is large with a lot of tasks, you should look into learning about agile project management,

Here are some tips on how to perform market research,

    Hope that helps,

    Daduna4444,

    Good morning!

Don't let me be the one to tell you that you won't be able to reach the world with your service, but the reality is, if you want to reach the world, the service still needs distribution expertise to help you on a broad scale and you will need wide distribution if you are going to market to everyone. Not an easy task, but maybe this plan below can assist.

With all this said, first and foremost, before you go try and pitch this to advertisers and market this... If your idea is so amazing and hot, then you better start the trademark everything you can so that your idea is protected. There is a problem if you go to market without having some protections in place on big ideas that BIGGER players can take what is not protected and do it BIGGER and better than you, because they have resources and capital to make it happen.

Once you have your idea trademarked then you may want to seek out a business/ company that has the expertise to help you build an advisory council, where you can sell off part of your company in exchange for seats on your team and expertise in the areas that you lack. Doing something like this will allow you to exchange 1% - 2.5%+ of your company for these key positions. In addition, this opens up the doors for you to exchange additional shares of the business to raise funds for seed or growth capital, depending where you are at as a business.

Lots of work, but it may be the best way to go in your case.

    Hope this was also helpful!

    Shawn

Thank you for such informative post
Can you tell me exactly where can i protect my intelectual internet project?
What do you think- Starting from the small size and grow independently or search for some ventures as you mantioned and raise funds? Maybe its better to start the test version to see the real success and than I am sure everyone will search for you even the biggest players

If you aim at selling something that is not limited by geography, there are still many characteristics of your potential customers you can investigate and set as target parameters. For instance, it can be age, gender, occupation, interests etc. I mean that geographic location is only one dimension of targeting, and if you're missing this one, then the target audience is shaped by other dimensions, which should be investigated.

As the local targeting is a huge source of direct traffic, you might investigate different possibilities for referral traffic prior to focusing on advertising. For instance, check out all possible niche forums, blogs, directories, interest groups, Q&A sites (or those from related niches) where you can share information about your product and explain why is it relevant to customer's needs.

You may also test social media strategy for your service promotion: join some Facebook groups and discussions, make a contribution, discuss, ask for opinions, do promotion etc. See how your own Facebook page will do, share visuals, videos and informative content for your subscribers, test different social platforms - sometimes one is more compatible with a specific service than another.

As you've already mentioned, paid advertising is definitely a way to go, but PPC only brings short term results, while promoting your service via different relevant social platforms for attracting referral traffic will sooner or later result in improvement of brand awareness and increasing organic traffic respectively. So, it may be helpful to investigate free opportunities for referral traffic and to research niches related to yours, and may be you'll eventually find out some free opportunities for self-promotion.

You said it, adwords is pretty good. Just confirming that this is not a local service that you are offering right?

Anyways, I would say both adwords, and facebook advertising would be your best bet.

You should also set up a Linkedin profile and set up connections with your target market, you can also join or start discussions on Linkedin about topics that your customers are interested in.

Sounds like a plan! But actually I wouldn't count on phone calls that much, because after sending out e-mails you will actually see how many responses you will get and it will become clear either you target audience is interested or not. So, just do some research, test social signals and collect whatever information you can get online prior to emailing potential clients.
