Top Posts of a hashtag

Hi Guys.
i'm growing some IG accs, so far so good. When i take a look at my picture's hashtag, I see many pics have fewer like than mine, but they are in the Top post.
Anyone has any idea why this happened ? Maybe because of IG's algorithm, any method to beat it ?

I've noticed this as well and am confused... My post get a good amount of likes and comments in the first 1-2 hours and I can't seem to get on the top post... Then I check and the ones at the top have half the likes and comments and have been up for 4+ hours

Not sure what to make of it...

Yes ! My post has ~ 7-8 cmt, 250-300 like and they only has 100-200 plus no cmt at all, but their post is in the top post section.

It is because of Instagram algorithm. Instagram shows your post to a sample of users, and see how they react to it. If they like it, engage with it, it will keep showing it to other users. So to get your post to rank, you rather focus on the quality rather than hashtags.

Ah Well There's No Certain Of Ranking In A Hashtag Anymore It's Personally Tailored To Each Individual Meaning The Top Post You See May Not Be Seen By Other Person In The Same Hashtag , Its A New Update And I Don't Think Anyone Has A Way But Ya Posting Frequently & Quality Posts May Help.

All you can do about that is make sure you post high quality stuff so when people see it your engagement will be high so IG will show it to more people and also make sure you use highly relevant hashtags that are not too hard to rank for depending on how big your account is.

My Post have more cmt then their, more like, etc. But still not in the Top post...
idk why, i interact with the follower alot.

Hey Man Don't Worry A Lot , See U Can't Determine What The Top 9 Posts Are For A Particular Person For A Hashtag U Have A Different Set Of Top Posts . Your Followers Will Have A Different Set Of Top Posts If Your Engagement Is Good Do Not Worry, Your Posts Maybe A Top Post For Someone Else Just Keep Up The Good Work.
