Too many scammers here

How to avoid
You should choose sellers and service providers with good feedback, long history, and attached web links. However, to avoid it as much as possible, it is up to you... to choose for yourself.

There are scammers everywhere, even the best member can be a scammer, nobody knows about the newest member, character is important.

Exactly as mentioned above, check the seller's reputation, feedback/reviews (and if they seem genuine), account age, and activity. Start with a smaller test order if in doubt. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
And try to keep communication in BHW. Some scammers try to duplicate reputable sellers here on external platforms such as Telegram.

Don´t buy from new members, avoid non upgraded members. Go for old established upgraded members with history here.
And do not buy via Telegram.

Ever.

How to avoid

I very rarely see blue members with > 500 posts scam.

You know why?

Because that kind of account is more valuable from even a few hundred dollars scam.

So develop some understanding.

Look around and ask yourself. What does this person have to lose if they scam me before entering a transaction. This is where you need some common sense. History of posts on the forum will always help you with that.

If I see a blue marketplace seller that joined last month with 100 posts, I'd never transact more than $50.

How to avoid
Deal with upgraded members only.

Check their profile and activity to see if they are actively involved on the forum.

Age of account matters as aged upgraded members are less likely to scam.

Avoid crypto for large value transactions.

Try to keep communication in the forum inbox and avoid telegram.

Be cautious if the buyer is desperate and pushing you for the deal/upgrades.

Pro tip: Get onto a video call and interview/discuss your project prior to purchase.
Most scammers will avoid this.

You should definitely look at their business history and make sure they have references.

I see this is a reputable platform and our job is simply to consider the reliability based on reviews, right?

When using any service here, you should ask your friends to avoid being scammed.
