Assuming i'm going for a niche, say for example "black hat world". :D

Since the .com, .net, .org for this particular keyword not available, if i register a domain

Option 1
hatworld.com

Option 2
khatworld.com

(assuming both available :p)

and then include subdomain to

Option 1
black.hatworld.com

Option 2
blac.khatworld.com

Would this combination would have better ranking for the particular keyword?

Do i need to do permanent redirect in i'm intend to make this subdomain as my main domain?

Assist me please...

Cheers

You can make a permanent redirect to this subdomain but I don't think it'll make any difference. I don't think a combination like that will rank for a particular keyword... though I haven't tried it. Maybe someone else could give you better advice.

ic.. isnt that subdomain still treated as separate domain and with that all keywords is there in it?

For me I try to find other available domain like : hatblackworld.com, worldblackhat.com as alternative.

I have actually been doing some research on this just today. What I have found is that it does not matter what the domain is as long as the subdomain matches the keywords. You can make it relevant, but if you are going to seo the subdomain for ranking, it should have the keywords in it. I will give an example.

We will use your above example.

Purchase the domain - moneymakingforum.com or whatever you please, then create the subdomain blackhatworld. So your domain would look like blackhatworld.moneymakingforum.com Then the keyword is in your domain. Google will pick that up and use it just like a regular domain.

Hope that makes sense and helps.

Justin - that sounds logic

Anyone else with other views?

I agree with Justin, using your keyword as subdomain will certainly help.

Bump...

Which would be best?

newyork.cars.com
w ww.cars.com/newyork/
w ww.newyorkcars.com

If I do the first or the second, I can pour the links into the home page and link internally however I wish. It'd also be only one real domain to manage.
