Hello everybody, I am on my way to start a new adwords campaign for my e-commerce website , i was doing standard SEO before, and i dont know all the tricks for a good adwords campaign. If you have some suggestions starting maybe with what type of words to use , if its better to choose words with small or big competition . If there's something to know about Google Search Network or Google Display Network ... anything that can be helpfull will be relly appreciate.

Thanks again :)

Use Google double click ad planner for finding the golden nuggets hidden in the maze for your display marketing.
For research use tightly knitted keywords in an adgroup to improve your CTR and quality score...

There are some good tutorials on Youtube.. sorry, that's the best advice I can give, I'm not really a PPC expert or fan.

Bid on your competitor's name :P They have spent alot building their brand and you know anyone searching for their name is definitely interested in your work . Work on your ad copy .. write catchy titles , provide description to attract visitors .. make them click ..

Spend your time on keyword research and ad copy ... this will help you in maintain high CTR .

Is there a way to change all my Ads group keywords from broad to exact ? I dont want to change it one by one....

Deathx01,

When constructing your Adwords campaigns, adgroups and keyword lists; be sure to make them highly targeted. Very tight set of keywords/keyword phrases, same keywords included in ad copy and don't forget to optimize your landing pages to help complete the conversion funnel. If you have been doing SEO for a while, it should be pretty straight forward, you are just paying for traffic now instead of driving it by design.

Some good resources covering Adwords are by Perry Marshall The Definitive Guide to Google AdWords and the Google resource center where they have video tutorials covering best practices.

You can find more book titles here,

Here is a link to the learning center,

I hope these resources help and good luck!

Read about the broad match modifier on the Google support page. This is a AMAZING match type feature that will help keep your impressions relevant- therefore increasing CTR and lowering CPC.
Use heaps of negative keywords for the same reason.

Tight Adgroups and check out what your competition is using in there ad copy- make sure yours stands out and is also reiterated on landing page.
