Tips for Fixing Ban for "Circumventing Systems: Cloaking Policy"

Hey everyone,

Has anyone here successfully fixed an account after getting banned for "Circumventing Systems: Cloaking Policy"? If so, do you have any tips to share on how to avoid this in the future?

Also, I’ve noticed that it’s often pretty noticeable before the ban hits. Google seems to start testing if you’re cloaking your landing page. Has anyone figured out how to avoid this or what to look out for?


Lastly, I’m curious about how Google is able to detect cloaking when the traffic is well-filtered. If anyone has insights on what might give it away or any tips to fly under the radar longer, I’d really appreciate it.

Cloaking is not a 100% fix , you will face bans regardless of how well the link has been cloaked since there are multiple factors Google looks into .

There are a lot of tricks to keep your campaign live for longer but as a beginner try to push your complete budget within the 4 - 5 days your campaign lives in exact keyword match.

You are right, moreover I noticed they were checking everyday if my lp was cloaked, so sure, it was supposed to be suspended in some extent.

Thanks for the advice, these bans are teaching me what to fix, I am implementing new tricks.
 
First thing’s first, make sure your landing pages are 100% aligned with Google’s guidelines. That means the content seen by both users and bots should be the same. Once you've fixed everything up, submit a clear and honest appeal to Google, letting them know what you’ve changed. To avoid another ban, keep an eye out for any funky traffic patterns - like a sudden bot surge or crawl spikes - and double-check that there are no differences in what users and bots are seeing on your site. Even if your traffic is well-filtered, Google can still catch cloaking through sneaky stuff like spoofed IPs, user-agent strings, or behavior tracking. Bottom line: just stick with compliant content and keep things clean. Also, test regularly and scale your campaigns slowly to keep things under the radar.

Yeah, getting hit with the "Cloaking Policy" ban is rough. You're right though—it usually comes with signs like increased bot activity or weird referrers before the ban. Google’s pretty smart with their crawlers now, and they’re likely mixing in real user agents and IPs that mimic regular traffic.


To stay under the radar longer, some folks rotate cloaking methods, tighten filters, and use behavioral checks, but nothing’s foolproof. As for recovering accounts, it’s hit or miss—some appeal attempts work if you have a strong case, but most don’t.
 
It is only possible to avoid such restrictions for a certain period of time, but an account can be opened by sending reasonable objections.

As for how Google understands traffic, the cloaker you are using may not be a good cloaker.

thank you for your reply, I think it's still possible to filter these "real user agents" some were blocked by my cloaker, you are right I need to improve my setup, and be up to date.

1. Usually, an account suspension for circumventing systems is doomed. It might be restored after a year or something but G will keep a close eye on that account.
2. The bad news is that G started using Gemini, running on client devices, in order to spot unusual behaviors of LPs/ websites.
3. Human checks on a given campaign are hard to dodge. Some cloaking providers claim they can detect that kind of traffic, I am skeptical about these type of claims.
4. So we need to keep up with these changes!

Because I used it before and had no problems, you can also use the ones in the forum, whatever you want.
 
Do not use cloaker 24/7, turn it off in non profitable hours to lower the chance of suspension as much as possible and send everyone to whitepage during those times.

As per how they do it to figure out you use cloaking you pretty much answered yourself in your second thread, they got much better in mimicking real users.

Thanks for your advice, yes they are good, I agree with you, I'm going to tighten the filtering
 
This error can occur for various reasons. It's possible to encounter it even on whitehat landing pages.
