Mobile proxies are some of the better ones you can get for botting. Rotating residential IPs is quite a boon. Now if your bot is for web scraping, I'd say HTTP is good. For other bots that do more than just send and receive web requests, you can go with a SOCKS proxy. On a side note, socks may be slightly slower than other protocols like HTTP (almost negligible so yeah) but it does offer a more secure connection by virtue of how it works. Personally, I don't feel the speed difference though.

I would definitely suggest high quality residential proxies.

I'm using http proxy from smartproxy, packetstream..
Some accounts pass but a lot are ban
You need private devices to get best results, proxies from those providers are usually saturated (over used for the same reason why you want to use them) and it makes your accounts weaker.

You can try to filter out good proxies from bad ones by querying ipqualityscore api and using ip2location database to see if the proxy is mobile device but thats pain in ass to do.

Why socks5?
I've tried Smartproxy with Tinder and very high ban percentage. I think the reason is that Smartproxy proxies are rotation. Tinder does not forgive rotating proxies.

Hey, for any phone/emulator bots make sure to use 4G socks5 proxies.

Mobile Proxies are going to be your best bet if you're botting on Tinder. Dedicated Static Residentials could work too but if you want to lower your ban rate, mobile proxies are the way to go...
