Hi, I currently post videos with a performance based sponsorship with a brand. The most money the are able to pay me under our agreement is once my video reaches 1M views.

They told me that these views must be organic and that they have a “filter engine” that tells them whether views are paid or organic, so they will only pay me for the organic ones.

My questions are:

A) Is this just a bluff? Or could I get away with a slow trickle of paid engagement to the videos they pay me for without them being able to tell. Is there even a way to look at another account’s analytics?? The analytics within tiktok itself don’t seem very detailed, so I am having trouble believing 3rd party analytics would be more telling.

B) What would be the best way to add engagement to a video over a 15-day timeframe without hurting my account or looking too suspicious.

Thank you!

You can possibly get away with still using paid engagement if the engagement comes from organic accounts, you may get noticeable decline if you're using only bot engagements. There's no way to check other account analytics unless that account releases the information themselves. God forbid, TikTok releases any information or statistics that are actually helpful, YT doesn't so why should they.
Organic engagements might be what you'll need, they can be pricier than the bot variety but at least you don't get shafted later down the line. It's tricky to find services on that which actually deliver. If you do consider, be very mindful of the ones you get.
