Yeah it might but you never know so just incase looking for some free tools to acquire some growth while it's still good if it goes down hill, still didn't spend nothing on it so no hard feelings

You could try using VPN's for changing your TikTok account location to reach a desired demographic group. Atlas VPN, Tunnelbear, Windscribe are just a few options from top of my mind.
I'd personally suggest using Atlas VPN due to the fact that they don't limit data usage and if you want to reach US audience, then its the right choice, because it offers a US server on the free option.
There are very few bots to use for TikTok channel growth, and being in the situation that TikTok currently is, I don't think there will be a lot of development in this area, at least for now. Also, I haven't seen a free bot anyway.

just pay a coder to make a bot, granted it wont be free but you cant automate
your life with free tools, they never last and get no updates
