I'm into link building, read some stuff here and on the internet, but I was thinking, it is better to write manually articles for tier 1 links, but what type of links? I mean, I can use articles written on blogger and similar as tier 1, or create my own website as tier 1, but which other type can be used as tier 1? I can use some blog profiles to write optimized articles and then use tier 2 links to point at them, right? But what else can be used as tier 1 links "host"? Suggestions? Thanks for the answers.

The basic idea is beyond just being a buffer, is to pass link juice from accounts that already have a higher domain authority. If you can grab domains that legitimate DA\PA, then by all means do that if your budget allows.
Many just use web 2.0's instead of private networks because it's far cheaper than procurring good domains and hosting all of them on seperate hosting plans.

Yeah got it. To rank my websites (mostly local activities), I thought it could work to use some tier 1 links on blogger accounts and write articles on them, and create some web 2.0, then creting the second tier (all manually) and then blast the 2 tier with guest posting, profiles and that kind of spammy links, or creating 4 tiers instead of 3. My question was, where can I post\insert tier 1 links, besides the places I said before? There is something else valid?
blogger would be considered a web 2.0 account. I think you're getting tiers confused if you get the basics. You add your site to site\business\articles directories, share pdf files, etc. and have those link to your money site directly, this wouldn't be considered a 1st tier.

You'd want multiple web 2.0's (10-20+ depending on your competition's back links), with at least one well written article on each account. You link your site with varying anchor text basically, and that'd be your tier 1.
You don't typically have a lot of tier 1 links, and you'd probably want to make those manually so they don't get deleted, or have crappy or otherwise ineffective content. There'd be a lot more tier 2's, and way more tier 3's, (100's and 1000's) so you would want to automate that using tools.
Profiles are typically used for tier 2\3's, along with wikis social bookmarks, social networking and you blast comments\spam to those. Tier 4 is just to index your tier 3 quicker to prevent those from being deleted before lower quality but higher volume link juice is passed on.

Tier 1's in most cases are web 2.0 sites. Theres many variations, but that's the types I like to use. You want to make sure you make these manually and provide unique content, add pictures etc.. to make them look real and avoid them getting deleted. Theres actually some pretty good threads on tiered link building in the black hat section that can help you.
