Scenario: You want to read all the threads related to a particular topic. (Test query performed below)

Rather than finishing one thread then going backwards and forwards in the browser / opening multiple tabs which takes up more memory, my suggestion is to enable a timer that will rotate the thread and visit the next thread in the search results list after x minutes defined by the user.

You'll get a notification showing you the timer is up and whether to load the next thread or not or automatically.

Not only will this will help to heighten the reading experience, and make things easier to access, this will help to cut back on RAM usage compared to the latter approach defined above.

Looking forward to any feedback.

oooh boy.. that would be a UX nightmare.. A timer would give a sense of urgency. The reloads that you miss to skip, would annoy the shit out of users. Imagine, you are browsing forum and then someone calls you and you take a small break from reading - the timer would continue to switch pages.

Each thread will have a different level of information, different number of pages and different level of study time. So it is not possible.
You can add manual button. Timing bot won't work

Yes, I guess the manual button would do the trick. Just something there that can switch to the next thread quickly without having to go back.
