thoughts on .xyz domains ?

I wanted to get your thoughts on using .xyz domains.

I know the google umbrella company is using the extension, but I have one beef with the extension.

if I paste the domain in an sms or some other messaging app, it does not always seem to recognize it as a link.

I register them for stuff where I expect a lifetime of <1 year - I will probably never renew one but if it's still alive for the purpose it's being used for, then ofc why not.

All I know is that .xyz is the most used TLD atm for spamming in the Internet.

I have purchased 20-30 of them recently as they are damn cheap. Good for testing stuff, redirection, link tracking & so on.

few years ago, bitcoin was crazy sense but now it's one of best payment method. So I think with time xyz will become good link juice for your links campaign.

I made this also ... Registered 30 with $0.25 / domain for spam and shoet term projects

thanks everyone for the feedback. I had bought a single xyz that had a great keyword, I will probably use it as a redirect as some have suggested
