I have always been into music of many different genres and subgenres. When I listen to music - I don't just hear different pitches and vibrations in the air. Every piece tells a story. It's like my mind opens up and I can physically step into the song and experience marvelous things.

What do you visualize when you listen to this? -

I'm standing in the Egyptian "red land"; the desert. The sun is beating down on me but I don't catch a heatstroke. Instead, I'm refreshed by the ocean breeze in the distance. Seagulls are cawing softly from far away. The smell of saltwater and desert sand permeate the air. To my East I can see an illusory oasis created by a mirage. Pausing, I take a deep breath before I stagger forth into the land unknown. My senses are keen. Either hidden treasure or certain death awaits me there.
I don't understand why I can only see these things through music and no other medium. I could probably hear over 20 khz. Shame that I don't have any decent speakers to prove it. My eyesight is getting worse, but my hearing remains constant.

Here is what inspires (not motivates) me to work hard -

For once I'd love to have a studio that can produce music of this quality.
This is something to envy. I'll work hard to achieve it.

    What is your inspiration?

Keep listening to what inspires you, but you should use the output of this inspiration. No motivational activity will work until you can apply that into real life and pull out some success.

Wake up> try to put depression aside> survive> wait for the night to come> sleep.

Pretty much how my inspirationless life goes :p

The last time I was depressed was when we first moved to Moldova. But not because we moved here. I'm far happier now than when I was a teen. There's still sludge left over, but I'll overcome it eventually.

I don't know how you battle depression, but video games helped me survive my teenage years.

I really love music. I am a musician myself, singer-songwriter. When I feel down, I always grab my guitar, ukulele or piano for a calm session..

I do several IM things daily. Today I got an email from rev.com saying that my application was rejected. Too bad they won't say where I failed. It doesn't matter, I'll just go to the next site and take an exam there. I took action and now I can calmly dust off my shoes and move on.

YUS, music is my love. My guitar skills are lacking because I practice once every few weeks, lol. Back when I started I was writing tabs 4 months after I first began to play. I loved it so much that I got pretty good at it quickly. Then the laziness kicked in and I practiced less and less. I was once able to play a dozen songs from memory and now can only do 1, lmao.

This is pretty much the only song I haven't forgotten how to play:

    I probably posted this before.

The lounge is a more interesting place than a diary. I'm not 15 anymore.~

My guitar skills are not the best, as I am left-handed and switched from playing the guitar upside-down to finally getting a Fender, left-handed. I do not care about being the best though, I sometimes just rest my head and listen to melodies and try to make the guitar communicate with me...

    Maybe that sounds weird :x

But I hope you know what I mean.

I think I do. I call it jamming. It's fun to add filler notes to every interesting piece you hear. Don't remember which musician said it but it went something like this, "When you play the guitar, you should move with the strings, not against them. Like a flowing river. " A lot of guitarists just wanna shred and that's fine, but they confuse real skill with merely playing fast. Speed on an electric guitar is pretty much a given. I've been playing acoustic for over 10 years . On an electric guitar my fingers practically have a mind of their own, lol.

When I meditate, I regularly listen to Tycho music.

I see myself in an unknown land with a beach. The sun almost rises, and I'm there, in the sand, staring at the ocean. It's so refreshing.

This album is a bit different. I see myself on a trip I took to Cancun last year. I see myself at Rio Secreto, walking to the underground Cenote excited for the adventure. The most beautiful experience in my life, if you ever go to Cancun or Playa del Carmen, you should totally visit Rio Secreto, it's amazing.

Stacks. Stacks and bitches. Not to be confused with stacks of bitches which would obviously be too much.
