I have always been into music of many different genres and subgenres. When I listen to music - I don't just hear different pitches and vibrations in the air. Every piece tells a story. It's like my mind opens up and I can physically step into the song and experience marvelous things.
What do you visualize when you listen to this? -
I'm standing in the Egyptian "red land"; the desert. The sun is beating down on me but I don't catch a heatstroke. Instead, I'm refreshed by the ocean breeze in the distance. Seagulls are cawing softly from far away. The smell of saltwater and desert sand permeate the air. To my East I can see an illusory oasis created by a mirage. Pausing, I take a deep breath before I stagger forth into the land unknown. My senses are keen. Either hidden treasure or certain death awaits me there.
I don't understand why I can only see these things through music and no other medium. I could probably hear over 20 khz. Shame that I don't have any decent speakers to prove it. My eyesight is getting worse, but my hearing remains constant.
Here is what inspires (not motivates) me to work hard -
For once I'd love to have a studio that can produce music of this quality.
This is something to envy. I'll work hard to achieve it.
