THIS IS ABOUT YOU! SERIOUSLY!! NOT COPY & PASTE! PLEASE READ!!!

So you are 18, a college freshman (so you haven't even truly officially declared a major yet and are taking mostly liberal arts classes), you lost some weight once as a teenager, and you are trying to get off the ground as a personal trainer?

My thoughts:
  1. Don't tell people you're a Kinesiology major if you say you're a web design student on your site (http://trainerconley.com/introducing-myself/)
  2. Speaking of the above link, that's way too long. Truth be told, nobody gives a shit about you or your story. They only care about themselves. What are you going to do for them?
  3. You look like a shriveled mess in your after picture, bro. Flexing, etc. I'd suggest getting a higher quality B&A setup going before someone takes you down a few pegs real fast.
  4. Proofread your content. Have someone else do it too.
  5. No more clickbait titles. We don't like that shit around here.
  6. If you want traffic on your site, put up articles that aren't the same old rehashed bullshit on every other site. What makes you different? Actually different, not special little snowflake different. Gaining and losing weight as a teenager is far easier than as a young adult in your 20's. That's your target market.
  7. Your site loads slow as fuck.
  8. If you want to make it, I'd suggest keeping your Tweets to your brand. Nobody will take you seriously with a Tweet that says "body like a back road is probably my favorite song".
  9. Your certificate is 100% online, cost a whopping $225, and I got the same fuckin' certification in less than a day a few years back. It's the equivalent of going to ITT Tech. Get a real certification if you want to be taken seriously.
  10. Get those comments from friends and family off of there. It reeks of desperation.
Want to be taken seriously? Get serious.

OP I see you are a personal trainer, can you please help me. I'm addicted to eating toilet paper and can't stop. Can you somehow train me to stop eating it ? That's why the mighty Lord God Bless Shiva Zeus Cleopatra created personal trainers on planet Earth.

If you do not choose to read this post, I don't need to know that my post had too many words for your Wernicke's Area to handle :) Please refrain from informing the rest of us that you don't care.

No.

Oh, and as a bonus: I don't care.

Not off to a good start there, sport. New member + full name + starting shit = bad times coming.

But other than that you liked it Lol! :)

Fuck no. Reminds me of some of the stupid shit I came up with as an 18 year old. I'm trying to help this douche get his shit straight so it doesn't take him five more years to find his IM purpose like it took me.

Well i was actually only joking hence the smiley face bit :)

Seriously though OP, congrats on your weight-loss, although TBH we are likely to go to other sites/pros for advice, but good luck anyway.

lol no need to be nasty man.

OP - no good deed goes unpunished. This is a marketing forum as such most members here already know there is no such thing as a completely selfless act.

I doubt we will be hearing from OP again :D

I hope we do... he wants to give to others in the community and just made a wrong turn.

Giving is good.

I sent him a PM when I made the adjustments in his original post and hopefully he will respond and come back.
it'd be good if he sticks around and there are probably a few on here who could do with some weight loss/more exercise.
after all sitting behind the pc all day is not exactly an active job.

If he does come back that will actually show some character and courage. Both inspiring traits.

Thank you for your feedback! But I would like to point out that I was already saying that I have failed on my website, and no longer promote it. I was simply offering an example of my failed attempts at IM from ideas I got here. My youtube on the other hand, is something I truly believe that I can grow organically to financial stability. This post was not for my website, it was for offering free tips.

You guys make it seem so devastating to receive some online criticism. Look, I get it, i'm not and IM legend, with a 5,000 thanked thread on my IG journey yada yada. I don't have the same experience as you guys. I don't use forums. I literally have been a ghost on here for years only reading. But I am truly doing this to gain experience for myself in online training. If I had of had some help in my weight loss, I would have been much safer. I would have maintained much more muscle. Regardless, I am offering help for people who want it. As I said, I previously weighed 305 lbs. I've been called names, teased, and bullied all my life. Things are different now, and I don't have thin skin ;) . I read every comment, and if it's hate, then it's hate. Everybody has their own place.

Nobody hating you OP and as I said earlier, congrats on the weightloss.
What you will probably find is that most people who are into health and fitness will already be members of other forums and take advice from those.
Those that aren't interested will just ignore the thread. People come here for SEO and IM information. People go to the gym to get fit.
If you can think of exercises people can do at the desktop or simple meal plans then that might help some but most people are here to make money. Money and a 6 pack would be nice though.
