Indeed it's not just retention but also CTR, watch time, video length, etc. though sometimes the algorithm is just weird because you can get just two combination and nail it.
I remember I got high retention video too like 70%, it got nice CTR too i think like 7%. Though it bombed and probably because it's just 1:00+ video.
While my other video with 40% retention, 10% CTR, 5min length is just killing it.

first of all .. you have to know you are not some regular ass youtuber .. you got reputation.. on youtube and on google.. and i can see you got good fan following.. you just have to tweak your branding style .. it really needs help .. like telling people to subscribe and stuff.. you really missing out of call to actions on your videos.. you needs to make yourself a brand ...

Where do you suggest I do with my brand?
 
How much are you making daily? Around 25-40$?
How do you deal with copyright? If you are not monetized, this is a problem because YT doesn't care about your contents if they can't make money with you.
Also, can i ask you the point to have 93k subs if you don't monetize from views?
 
Maybe you targeted the wrong niche. Do you use softwares to make up fresh content or like a vlog?

Focus on trends & thumbnails as well:)

Post 3 video every single day for 1-2 months and see how your views explode !

Its weird, but on a positive note, i've started making tutorials this year and they seem to do better than my dance videos which leaves more opportunities to monetize in the future since I dont have to worry about COPY right.

The first thing you can do with your brand is to get a verification badge on Instagram. Then when you hit 100k, get a verification badge on YouTube.
 
@Lord Hec For me it's okay to use Tik Tok and IG, but please dont leave Youtube. It doesnt mean that it didnt work today, it will not work tomorrow. Promotion from Tiktok and IG will help you boost your Youtube or either ways. Just dont give up on them.
Upon going into your channel:
1. I think you need to fix your thumbnail.. All of your thumbnail
2. I think doing dance videos rather than tutorials are better.
3. Dance more than talk
4. You should observe on other dance videos how they do their videos. I think the camera angles and video editing. Others dont even know how to dance but with camera angles, how they move their camera? men... it shows that theu can really dance even if they dont. camera angles will help you boost swag on your videos.
5. I think if there were popular songs, dance etc. you should try it first before it gets trending so you will be the first one on trend
6. Dance with groups and make sure you are all synchronize to make it more swag and perfect. I usually see dance groups and were all synchronize it really look good on camera. Either it was popular in tiktok or new release of song or dance, make a cover ahead.
7. Use different locations. Maybe you can also use different locations with great views. Visitors will be attracted too.
8. You can try Korean dance too. They were trend nowadays.
9. Just continue what you are doing. Just continue doing what you love.

OP, I was giving a small presentation to Real Estate Agents a couple of months ago before all this crap went down. I'm going to tell you what I told them. Take it it with a grain of salt if you like, but it's the truth.

Here it is.

To get big on social media, you need shootouts. This is plain and simple! Think of semi-biggest youtubers and you'll see that for the most part they all got big because someone else gave them a shoutout. Heck, even some world comedians because massive because of a YouTube shoutout (How do you think 'Fluffy' got famous?).

You have to do the same. You need to start connecting with YouTubers who will start giving you shootouts. For free. Because they want to. You will notice a massive difference between a paid shoutout which costs an arm and a leg, and a free shoutout that they do for you because they want to.

You can Google how to do basic PR pr relationship building on YouTube, but if I was in your shoes, I'd do the following (warning: this will be a long process, but in the end you'll make connections and you never know what extra gigs you might get with it):

It's quite simple really, but tedious. If I were you, i would identify YouTubers with 70,000 - 120,000 follower range who have banging tracks that you want to dance to. First, I would start a conversation with them telling them how much you like their music and fluff talk. Eventually you'd ask (or tell!) them that the next video you'll be posting will be about their track.

People with 100K followers will love it. Will give you a shoutout and most likely upload your video to their channel or at least a snippet of it. Free PR to 100k followers.

Do that for 5 accounts.
Next. Find people in the 120-200 range. Do for 5 accounts. And pretty much increase the account subscribers by 80k, building yourself up, making connections, etc. You never know which which profile account might be watching THE OTHER ACCOUNTS when they'll see your video.

Also, off topic, but as a side business I think you should open a dance studio. You'll 100% make money

Are you fully utilizing this? I didn't see a mention of it in your YouTube videos. What is your goal? If its to be $$$, my suggesting is contranate on the school and how to increase class sizes, and let the videos be the catalyst that drives traffic to the school

This is a cool idea. Not necessarily Korean as there is so much competition but find upcoming hits from countries that have a lot of YouTube viewers but their local YouTube scene is undeveloped.

Philippines is a good shout. I think Brasil is a good one too.

Viewers from countries like that would be fascinated to see a foreigner dancing to their songs and your current viewers would be fascinated to hear music from countries that they would never think of (assuming the music is good and similar genre to what you usually use).

Reaching out to mid sized artists is a good idea as well, as somebody else has suggested. Where they are still small enough to be flattered by you doing videos with their song but big enough to drive you some decent traffic.
