I am steadily receiving less likes on photos as my account grows.

At 11k followers it was 1100+, now at 19k it is 800+

This was also around the time I started using a bot (Follow liker)

The photos I post have been of consistent quality the whole time.

I also noticed that my latest post is not appearing in the "top posts" section, even though it has more likes etc than other posts that are there.

Are Instagram preventing my followers from seeing my posts? Does anyone have evidence of this being done?

Finally, what should I do from here? Keep following/unfollowing with the bot, or will that make things worse?

From what I can tell, some people are experiencing this, but others aren't.

I had a similar issue awhile ago. Fixed it by throwing the bot in the bin and it went back to normal in a couple of days. I think it is your account getting temporarily limited.

mostly as your fc increases, your engagement decreases.
I thought maybe schooling affect this? if more of your followers are school aged, then once school starts obviously activity drops

Many variables; less interest from new followers/ content is not the same as why they followed/ repetitive content.
 
Your competitor's botting might also be playing a part in the decreased engagement
 
So today I posted a photo that made it into the 'top posts' for a few areas.

On one of these hashtags, I noticed that my post was not being shown in the 'recent posts' feed.

Evidence that Instagram does make posts invisible sometimes?
 
I think there is some kind of hidden ban or something because some people cant reach the 7500 following when they follow people and if you post on the same day when you did the following maybe instagram caught you and they limit us to reach more people with a post or something else because I noticed if I post the next day or day after I stop to do this or to stop using instagram at all it works better somewhat.
