sandbox or whatever it is does exist imo, 2 new site of mine, 1 is a month old and the other is 2 weeks old, both experienced it and came back in the serp within 2 -3 days with a higher ranking
You know this is bull this ongoing Google debate but with all of this FUD I see a lot of opportunity. Thanks BHW you just gave me a great idea! when I flesh this out I will share.
