But its still their race and therefore they can decide to side with the UCI if they want to or say f*ck them were separating and going on our own ventures. Until the ASO decides what to do,he hasn't been truly stripped yet. If you run something you can change your rules or not enforce your rules if you want to,since it is your event.
In this thread you disagreed with the UCI's decision and that they have no right to take the Tour titles from Armstrong. If you don't agree with it in the same way that you thought USADA were corrupt in the
other thread, that's your problem, but you are still wrong.
You clearly have no clue about international cycling or its organisation. The UCI and ASO have chosen to work together, and have done so for years. There is absolutely no reason to change this.
Even Armstrong himself agrees with the UCI decision. Armstrong has removed the Tour de France titles from his Twitter account.
It previously read: "Father of 5 amazing kids, 7-time Tour de France winner, full time cancer fighter, part time triathlete."
Now it
simply states: "Raising my 5 kids. Fighting Cancer. Swim, bike, run and golf whenever I can."
Not only that, but the Tour de France organisers want him to
pay back the prize money.
Then shouldn't any sports drink such as gatorade,red bull,powerade,monster also be banned in sports since it helps increase performance. And that they only should be allowed to drink water during events?
You also have no clue about drugs in sport either. There is no comparison between
banned performance enhancing drugs (PED) and sports drinks. For instance, EPO has the ability to improve a cyclists performance but can also cause cancer and death. PED's are banned for specific reasons; they give unfair advantage and can cause permanent damage to cyclists bodies and in some cases
death. Armstrong also had the ability to buy one of the best sports drug doctors (and trainers) in the business. Other riders could not do this. The PEDs Armstrong took may even have cause his own cancer in the first place.
One last thing. Please don't forget to have the last word and to disagree*. Again and again and again...
* You're still wrong.
