The value of generated traffic for a backlink

A backlink (let's say, non spammy but relatively good backlink) can become more powerful if it's clicked and take visitors to my website, compared with the same backlink but with 0 traffic through that link?

Yes, maybe.

It may not provide direct traffic, but there are often plenty of backlinks that can add more to the site.

If the website/page that does contains your link does already get organic traffic, it means Google put more weight into it, no matter of its links, content...
So, even if getting referral visitors on its own is not considered a signal, getting a link from a ranking page with traffic is a good one

Obviously this is good. But normal sites won't bring traffic by guest post. You have to publish guest post on high quality sites high traffic.
