Hmm I'll have to read up more on Ubot. I've seen you mention it a lot in this thread, is the $500 one kinda required for updates or the Standard version is fine?

I guess I didn't read up much on it before cause it was hard to understand how it works exactly, and I'd worry about the quality of scraped content. But I guess it's really just like a more flexible version of Senuke or something?

I have standard version I bought on his yearly Xmas sale but I think it's normally $199.

Honestly the best way to describe it is like a macro recorder .. You can program for just about any site .. And it can create and use lists.

It is not a program professionals would use to make complex bots with .. But you can update it as sites change .. And create yourself almost anything you may need especially at the level we are dealing with...... The main advantage for me is being able to create my own custom solutions so I'm not sitting around clicking crap all day.

some people may prefer the larger professional programs already done .. But I was just answering his question above.

(most programs have free trials or return periods .. So if your taking IM seriously and are making some money you should be trying as many as you can)

i promote a product and today when i was checking my site i notice that, that product is not on amazon anymore .....
so i want to know that if i redirect visitor to that page where product is not exist and amazon giving error that " We're sorry. The Web address you entered is not a functioning page on our site" in this condition if visitor go to home page and buy products, then am i will get paid or my tag is washed as that product is not exist.....

Amazon pays for this as well. To be 100% sure check if clicks are being recorded in your amazon account. If you have multiple products you are promoting then you can create sub-id to track.

I know what your saying .. And this is an issue for me as well since I manage alot of sites .. The way I try to control it is to use popular products with lots of reviews because those tend to stay for the long run .. Sometimes you get screwed with accessories but all you can do is try to check them from time to time ... I don't have a 100% solution for this .... sorry.

as far as the cookie goes you shouldn't have an issue .. But the dead pages are obviously not ideal.

its up to you, but i think we have limitation of maximum 100 tracking ids, so in future if you create more site then you will face trouble, so in my opinion do create too much tracking codes for single site

Another thing I do is link to the amazon search page with the products keywords as search text, instead of linking to the product itself. This works for two reasons 1) Google gives more important to search pages for some reason (tags, categories, search pages rank better on most sites) 2) Even if the exact product is removed, search throws up related products to the keyword. Hence users will see at least some results always.

Ex: http://www.amazon.com/s?field-keywords=my+product+name
This will also list accessories for the product as well as related product matches giving a better user experience, I think.

My first site is coming along nicely, design is looking good and nearly 1000 words on the first page, though I will add to that as I want 2000 words.

Got a big content plan with over 100 other KWs I can target in other articles, not sure if I will outsource yet.

Once I have enough content I am looking forward to the most exciting part which is link building from my high PR blog network. (well link building is boring but watching sites climb the rankings and start making money isn't).

Personally I don't like the idea of doing that .. I'm trying to give a focused reply to a question so I don't like peripheral interference ... if you view it another way by all means pursue it ... everything is not Right/Wrong all the time - so what I prefer doesn't mean that's optimal in every case .. really I'm just providing my 1 opinion.

I just wanted to add my view on buying BST BHW Services.

You should have your own Basic Seo Plan // Advanced Seo Plan - and implement them as your Sites Age / Perform and Show you that you have done a good job with your Keywords.

Sure you can buy Services to Diversify your Work - and re-use the URL's they use for other Sites you own - and access other link forms perhaps your not using --> but overall you should try to control your Seo Plan so that the quality of Links stays where it should be ... also any Service giving you Web 2 -- you gotta remember those are not going to stay alive forever if they are used once and never updated again .. which will then kill the tiers above them .... so my suggestion is to really keep a handle on your Seo as best you can .. and utilize your money where it is best rewarded.

I read it - and answered -- you can't compare a Made For Adsense Site Project and an Amazon Project -- what I do brings more professionalism to Ranking and Brings what I believe to be a better user experience .. these Amazon sites rank better for the longer term than the other more simple types of sites.

I used Broken Link Checker plugin to manage this. It will show you where links are not working then you can edit them

Alright, I thought I would update my progress here:

I built 1 large site back in Feb and been doing extensive SEO. Around April the site were doing great on the SERP and in May alone I banked almost 6k from that single site. Just when I thought I was able to slip through the Penguin 2.0 then the site was hit on 7th June, cutting almost 80% of my traffic. Ouch!

I havent abandoned the site yet as it still brings me around 1k per month (estimate), but I did learn some valuable lesson here:

- How to convert traffic to buyers, which I think its the most important thing.
- I did some research and the ROI of my site is much higher compared to many sites with the same amount of traffic or even more. Amazon is proven to be a better route for affiliate markerter.
- Investing in content and user experience is a must
- Go easy on your Seo, no matter how whitehat you think you are, Google can still wipe you out. Building an authority site does not equal immunity from the big G.
- Google authorship is the next big thing.
- Track everything you do from the ground up to easily replicate.

I'm currently building up 3 smaller sites from the money I got and layout a total different SEO stratey. Already bought a whole range of tools: Ultimate Demon, GSA SER, Scrapebox, Proxy, VPS. Will see how these sites will perform. Will keep you guys update later on.

Bottomline, stick with it, test things out, you will get there.
