Hi everyone,

I decided to start a new Amazon thread because I got quite a few people wanting to post their results and get moving again .. so after a break I decided let's get too it.

The first thing I want to say is this thread is for BHW members to figure out how to make money / what to do and to share good and bad experiences -- it is not for BST sellers to come in and spam their Products/Results or whatever else they try to do to promote their services.

If I write something about a service or product in this thread its because I paid for it and it helped me make money ... if you have a similar experience then I welcome you to post what it is and what it did for you to help you make money with Amazon.

This time I welcome anyone to respond to questions / provide better answers than I can or help other members in any way -- rather than me just ramble on all the time.

Lastly what I put into this thread is what makes me money .. it is not the only way to do Amazon and there are many ways to approach this and hopefully this time we can talk about the other methods more.

So jump in and let's discuss Amazon which I view as one of the must join programs on the web today - Amazon is trusted / you get paid - and sometimes you get commission for products you don't even market.

Just to show you that I know a little bit about Amazon Marketing - here are a couple days commissions.




this is 4 days in a row : $230 $40 $60 $90

since my last thread started last June my daily earnings fluctuate between $25 - $320 a day .. with a more normal range of $60-$140 a day.

Before I start listing what I use please remember that when your starting off and your on a budget you can do alot of things by hand you don't need to spend alot of money getting going - but as your project gets bigger then you need to invest earnings in Tools.

This is the list I use :

* Ultimate Demon * Captcha Sniper *Scrapebox * Document Marketing Robot * Ubot - custom bots * Get Article * PinPioneer * Twitter Money Bot * Spinnerchief/Chimp Rewriter

AddMeFast / YouLike Hits - Bots and use for Promotion

You can also substitute -- GSA / Magic Submitter / Se Nuke and other tools you may prefer better

Video Tools - Mass Video Blaster - Any Video Converter - Watermarking Software

Account Creation Tools - Ubot Custom Made and Growths BST Thread

VPS to run Tools : Hostamus or Berman Hosting

Proxies : Unr3al Private Proxies and PowerProxy : also a buy yearly Hide My Ass Subscription in December @$58 on their XMAS promotions.

WebHosting (very important) : Hostgator / Wiredtree / LVPS ... places like Hostgator Shared are only good up to a certain extent then you need to move.... these 3 I recommend .. have tried many though and you may have some you prefer more .. but check out webhostingtalk for latest offers/discounts.

Management : CMS Commander - manages multiple WP Blogs in a click basically.

I will go through everything I do - one step at a time - and then discuss other things I have tried and failed and things I'm working on now -- just can't do it all at once
as I learned from my last thread I need to be thorough and explain as simply as possible .... so it takes time to write it out that way ... so I will probably do one a day
and respond to the discussion as we get going again .... thanks for checking in on the thread and hope you find it useful.

Content :

For a typical site I like to have 5 articles and 3 reviews - so lets use the Wireless Router example I used before.

My articles are based on topics like : How to troubleshoot my wireless router connection issues : Best Locations for Wireless Routers : Most reliable brand of Wireless Routers : Best Wireless Router for use with Mac's : How to Properly secure my Home Wireless Network

Then I pick 3 Wireless Routers - Budget Intermediate and Expensive Router and write a review on each.

Once I insert these into my site and add text links with my affiliate link in them to the site - and add whatever images and links I can.

Then I would just leave the content and work on the basic Seo type work. When a site gets traffic and converts well - and is making money -- then I put more content on the site - more articles - more reviews to try to keep the site relevant and attract more people from Search. If a site is not popular at this time or not selling - I leave the base content on there until I start to see good quality converting traffic coming through - just keep up the basic Seo on the site in the meantime.

Remember the Number 1 lesson I learned with my Amazon Sites --- the more unique high quality content I added to my sites the more my Sales rose .. the more money I made the more content I could add -- so it's a good thing to make sure your content is the best it can be - don't bother with Spun Garbage or non english speaking writers on your money site - those sites will just die.

How long does it take to make consistent money when you start a site with Good Content and Basic Seo ?

takes about 2-3 months to get good quality search traffic and to start seeing Sales every day - before that it can be inconsistent and if you spam your sites too much in the early stage that can hurt you later -- this is an investment not a get rich quick scheme.

Want to learn more ?
Then check out your competition and see what content they are using - how many words - how they use their affiliate links - and just look for the first 20 sites don't bother past that.

Nice, so wanna ask something about the payments.
Basically, if you are outside of the states your only option is to go for check payments. As far as I've read it takes 60 days for you to get paid, and then it takes another 20 to get the check.

How are the payments? Are they according to your screen or do they get shaved like the adsense's ones.

Also, what does the 60 days payment really mean? Does it mean that you will get the money you have made up to those 60 days, or does it mean you get the money from the previous 60 days?

One last question, how many products you need to sell to get 15% commission?

Joining Amazon : Affiliate - Program . Amazon . com

I am part of USA Network - so if you are outside the US and use their other countries programs then you would have to check their rules .. Honestly I don't think you can get 15% commission on regular Amazon items maybe in some of the secondary you can - electronics are capped at $25 or 4% for example per sale.

Payments well I get direct deposit and would probably suggest you get a netspend card and have amazon direct deposit into that - then just go to the ATM - if your outside USA and worried about Checks.... anyway this is something you would have to read and figure out what is your best solution.

No the money you make this month gets paid in 60 days - so after a couple of months you get payment every month -- this is due to their return policy and stuff like that.
(so payment day is always now last business day of the month - they changed it a little while ago) ... then you have to allow for your bank processing or check .. but mine has always been in the account on that day or before under the old rules.

TOS - if you break their TOS your toast like any network - but what I am discussing here complies with their Rules.... Blackhat Amazon at your own risk.

I don't have that site - I used Wireless Routers as an example in my last thread and am going to carry on with it in this thread. I'm just saying I'm writing articles supporting the Topic not writing articles on : Netgear DFG4500 Advanced Wireless Router for example -- that would be more of a Review -- Like --- 2013 Top Wireless Router For Gaming - Netgear DFG4500

you got to get the gist of how to get the most search traffic...... another article I like to do is --- {Must Have|Best} Accessories For Wireless Routers 2013 .. then make a list of 10 accessories - with content and links for each one.

I hope you get my meaning better now - sorry if it was confusing before.

I think its possible to get 20% on some items and 15% on others -- but those are not regular Amazon items -- you really got to look closely at it - if those things concern you. Also don't underestimate with Amazon you get commissions on things you don't even market but people buy anyway.

If you are outside the USA sign up at www.payoneer.com (NOT AN AFFILIATE LINK) they set you up with a US bank account and credit card.

Im in Spain and have Amazon send my commisions to this account and draw money from ATM machine no waiting for checks and paying huge bank commisions for proccessing the check which Spanish banks where stinging me before.
