The Ultimate Amazon Thread Mark 2 - Q/A - Good/Bad

Kw in domain name doesnt matter IMHO.

Make sure your pages rank, thats it.
I get what u guys r saying but I want to know if the other articles should be targeting a keyword as well

Using the wedding dresses example again

Should i be getting domain as weddingdresses.net or weddingdressesreviews.net

I guess it dont really matter cause both domain have the main keyword in it

I guess im just over looking at thing since i pretty much know what to do but just kinda nervou cause this is my frist time using Amazon and want everything to be perfect

I would have keyword in domain and only buy a .com

again - if you want to do it differently then that's up to you.

Im trying to follow exactly what u doing as much as possible

Thats why im reading this thread over and over again

Its just seem like im not getting it I dont know why

does any one know of a way / place where i can get a big list or database of all of the products on amazon (their name, link)??
There must be something out there but I can't seem to find it no matter how much i search.

to answer your question there seems to be 2 opinions

1. smaller sites - more of them - focused on specific buying keywords - traffic will be lower but by using $100 + products your going to get a decent return for the effort put in -- the first site is the hardest of course because you haven't done it before.

2. a large site - that you put all your information on and create a large authority site -- that hopefully over time becomes very valuable.

I have never done Option 2 - so I can't answer any questions on how best to do that - but there are others who either have done it - or are doing it now and they can advise you how best to go about it.

My observations are looking at some of my sites - that I am not competing with Sites like (2) they are not ranking for the same keywords I am -- I see more sites like Amazon - Home Depot - Lowes . About.com and these similar sites.

Anyway which one is better depends on your experience I guess - because if you follow (2) then my advice doesn't apply so much.

Just try one site - get it done - and play with it and see what your results are -- worst case you lose $30

Ok I have to go -- cheers.

Danny , thanks to your thread I am ready to start these days my journy with amazon. I have saved up some cash for domains, hosting, articles and themes. I am going to do this:
1.Find my products i am interested ;
2.Find my domain with the help of Market Samuray - I am going to start with 3, one / week;
3.Hosting (is it ok Baby plan from hostgator? no money yet for separate ip's .. )
4. 5 items + 1 page of accesories ;
5. 4 unique articles on each site - i saw 6.15$ ;
6. Press release ;
7. Add some reviews ;
8. Repeat with new unique articles

Can you shoot me a note with your oppinion , thank very much man! Cheers!

Can you just do 1 Site first and get everything done - and see how it goes first - make sure you can rank it on Page 1 etc

then once you get some Sales / Rank Well - then jump in and do the rest.

Just because there are things you need to learn along the way - that would be my only suggestion.

i am going to start with one , just one small thing i want you to advice me if u can , do you add items amazon reviews on the site or not ?
Or you add them as no follow ? bcs these i think might be usefull for users as well, but not for my site as it's not unique content ..

No I would not add Amazon Reviews From Amazon.

Get your own content to match the Site.

My other thought was if you have never done this before definately start with 1 Site only -- its unrealistic to think that you can start today making 30 Sites and Make $1500 a month -- you have to develop a process of how you do things - that matches the results you get ... once you get into it you will know what I mean.

Cheers

Would you consider selling my products on Amazon?That could bring you another $3k-$4k monthly.

hey Danny,

With such low pages, how much do you make per month per site on average?

Just curious about the result of your strategy. I guess you must have a lot of those type of sites.

With these late google updates, the exact match keywords domains will be considered spammy? My opinion is.... that is safer just to find a domain with one keyword and add another word near ??
I'm afraid not to fail from the start...

Hi Danny,

I've been following your thread and willing to take action. I'm stuck on keyword research. I need your advice. Could you pls tell a bit more about how to begin with keyword research? I'm clueless about it. What should be the minimum LMS for decent kw? I hope you'd like to answer. Thanks.

Editing to elaborate more. I am checking domains and almost all good ones are taken, so can I add any additional word in my domain like abc after the main keyword?? is this a good idea?

This is my first IM project, so excuse my ignorance.

All the questions are answered in my threads already.

But the Basic Metric I look at is - $100 a month per Site with this method. (average)

When I was Auto-Blogging it was $30 a site per month ... however A-Blogging is like a prime target for Google these days -- and making $600 a month with 20 Sites after a while got boring -- so I upped my game.

I know nothing about Listing and Selling Products on Amazon - and I don't want to be involved in returns etc - too much Hassle.

If you have a good product on Amazon - PM me the link and I will take a look - as I could put it on one of my sites if its a match and the price point makes sense for me to do that.

If you can't figure out the proper Amazon Keywords etc to make a profitable site -- then look on BHW for a Seller of them or look on WF for the same thing.

I'm sorry but it is not possible for me to provide these - I do mine a certain way - just like I make Sites a certain way - just like I do content a certain way ---> if you want to be successful you have to find your way of doing things so your different from other people.

Lastly another thing - always look at the keywords your targeting and check out the sites your competing with - whats their content / whats their keywords / what are they optimized for ...... make sure you can beat them --- as if your relying on Google traffic - you need to be in the Top 5 for your targets.

Just wanted to add - I've been where you guys are - as it seems the last few people are real beginners.

I had no idea about Amazon / Building Sites and making money - it seemed crazy to think people would come to my site - click a link and I would get paid - and that this sort of income would ever make $1000 a month seemed almost unbelievable.

But I started with FSB Amazon Sites - got robbed by the owner but still made some money by sticking with it - realized there had to be a better way - and made WP AutoBlog Sites -- then realised there has to be a way to make this work more efficiently - and moved onto more Content Driven Sites.

....... so no matter what you can't jump from $0 to $1500 a month overnight -but what you do have to do - is get yourself a plan and start taking action and working on it -- the sooner you start the sooner you get sales. Its hard to learn by just reading when your a beginner -- you got to learn how to work quickly/efficiently and keep your costs down - till your in a position to be able to buy tools to make your job easier.

Something I have been working on more and more is using Ubot to automate tasks.

Now what I do is create the Ubot - For Example One that goes and checks my followers and Social Account Numbers and records them in a spreadsheet.
Another one is one to get me YouLikeHits Points and another one the AMF Bot that I didn't create.

But anyway what I do is Create a Batch File

Save As "FileName.bat" -- then add the "Filename.exe" "/autorun"

then go to task scheduler in windows -- add a new task - and set the Batch File to run each day between 6 am and 7 am for the various tasks - so when I sit down to start work - alot of the more tedious
stuff is done and I just check the output file to see the results.

It's way better than doing it manually - and anything you create in UBot can be organized the same way.

Cheers
