The Ultimate Amazon Thread Mark 2 - Q/A - Good/Bad

Awesome thread man, i just want to ask the majority a question.
I have some quality reviews, and for example if i want to use the review - red leather chair ,and i have EMD redleatherchair(Dot)something , should i post the article in my main page (redleatherchair(dot)someting) or i should create a separate page - redleatherchair(dot)something/newredchair.How can i rank it better, 3 reviews with different keywords on 3 different pages, or 3 reviews posted on the main page with related keywords.

I like to put my best content and images in the Slider - to get people to click something from the start

but the answer to the question is depends on your template and how it lets you organize your content.

A good Site Structure that lets people find the answer to how they came to your Site in the first place - is always preferable
for me anyway ... Customer Satisfaction / User Satisfaction is very important.

I understand that many people reading this thread are not Native English Speakers and find it hard to understand some things or aren't sure that they can be successful.

If you look through the thread - I have provided many resources that you can use to solve your problems and get many of the hard things done.

But that doesn't mean you can Slack Off - you still need to organize yourself and get the first site done -- no site = no $$.

Danny I have a couple of questions referring to Google search results to which I would really appreciate if you could answer.
When doing your keyword research, what would you say that it's the optimum number of results for the intitle:"kw" inurl:"kw" operator? Do you stop working on the main keyword if it has more than 100,000 results and focus on others who are in the 50-60,000 range?

Thanks!

You are looking for an Iron-Clad Answer like alot of people always ask... if this --> then this.

But you fail to realize the most simple thing - actually going to Google and looking
at the Top 10 Sites for the Keyword and checking whether they are review sites or optimized
sites or if they are there by default.

Because you can target larger words and not always settle for lower words.

I have one Medical Niche I'm in that makes money routinely like clockwork - but if you just went
by the numbers you would have never gotten into it in the first place.

Personally I can rank sites up to 3 million results fairly easily dependent on how the sites are built that
would be in competition with. But that doesn't mean I chase everyone of them - its gotta be something
I can do in terms of my Site vs Their Site.

True talk Danny1111. I don't look at the results, what i do is look at the top 10 websites and see what they are like, example keyword is "make money online free" it has 1,670,000,000 results and am ranking on the first page as well as other "make money online" keywords that has more than 2billion results, my biggest challenge is to find out amazon buying keywords, and i think am getting the hang of it already. Thank you so much for sharing A-Z on how to be successful with amazon. Love.

Indeed, you are right. I realize that my question was a bit of the chart and rather inappropriate but I had to ask.

For the past couple of hours I played around with some keywords and as you said, there are a lot of retailers among the top 10 results. I believe that that's mostly due to the fact that they are relevant to shopping rather than the niche. From the looks of it, only one or two actually optimized for the keyword while others seem to be there by default, as you put it.

Your answer pretty much strengthens what I thought regarding the competition. While a niche may seem unapproachable at first due to a high number of results, if the website is properly optimized it could turn out to be a winner.

Thanks for your reply! :)

Yeah - thats right

It's not possible to win every battle - sometimes you expect a certain amount of traffic - you do everything right - but the numbers just don't work in real life.

So you figure out why that is and next time you learn from it ... or you just can't beat the Sites in a Certain Niche no matter how hard you try.

You just have to move on and not invest too much into it -- the secret really is - once you work on this a while it suddenly just one day "clicks" and you say to yourself
boy oh boy - I really know how to make this work now - it really is not that hard....... ---> but getting to that point takes effort.

remember when I started the thread all the people who couldn't pick a domain name/ couldn't pick a template/ couldn't find keywords / couldn't find a niche

when the day comes when it "clicks" to you -- you will look back and say man ... it really wasn't as hard as I thought.

Cheers

I've got to head out - so will check up tomorrow .. cheers

Looked at a Few More People's Sites - and 1 Note.

You have to actually Sell Things - so you need text links / buttons and Image Links to Amazon

otherwise your going to all this trouble and end up with Peanuts.

I have found a niche :D or atleast one to try.
So I have bought a domain name and use free hosting to setup my wordpress website and installed a nice looking theme.

Danny I have a couple questions if you could answer please:

What ecommerce plugin if any do you use for your wordpress sites or is there a more specific plugin for "buy from amazon button" etc.
I was thinking an ecommerce plugin would make it easier to manage different product categories and display them for the user.
Also whats the best permalink structure to ensure the product links get google ranking.

Thanks

No

search Google for custom button maker free

make a button

Upload to your site - or put into photobucket and use that URL

I use post name,

There's obviously some Google Updates going through.

My magento sites that basically suck in rankings had 50 clicks and 3 Sales for about $500 Sales 2 days ago
waiting to see what they sold yesterday.... for the last 2-3 months had almost no traffic to them and no sales.

Hello Danny,

Your thread help me a lot to start my amazon earning and finally i start getting sales for my first and only site. Now its time to scale up website quantity and money.....

i am adding a screenshot of my earning so far. i am targetting low price items 10-40/50$ products. so my average earning on per sale is low but i know atleast now that how to get rank on site and how to sale products :P
myamazon.JPG

My SEO blueprint is........ {as you suggested }

1. i build social signals for first 10 days... {start with pinterest account, then FB and then twitter, increase followers using addmefast}
2. start bookmarking my product page to quality bookmarking site, this hlep me in getting indexing fast and now i am bookmarking each product page i posted in my site to atleast 50 bookmarking sites.
3. Launch a press release {This really work very well}
4. I am creating new web2.0 properties in every 3-4 days and bookmarking it to 300+ bookmarking sites.
5. I own a 200+ webdirectory network so i am adding my site to 2-3 webdirectories everyday and bookmarking detail page to 20-30 sites.

This is what i did so far and i am getting 40-80 visits from search engine everyday.... {most of my keyword rank is between 5-10 so if i move them in top 5 then possibly my sale will increased}
[I will add other backlink method for this site next month]

My Next plan is to start 1 new site every 15 days. because more site means more earning..... i am in seo service business since 2009 but i am trying my skills first time on my own sites.. I will target 50-200$ products now..

I am not good in writing and explaining but i hope you all can understand it... :P Thanks again danny for your nice thread. I will also post my experience and will try to help newbies.....

I know you may think the earnings to date are low - but the main thing is ---> you learnt that it can work if you put it into action.

So you are exactly right --- learn from the first one - target higher priced products - keep up the overall strategy - and I wish you every success in the future.

We all would appreciate your updates / advice and tips - especially Im sure people get sick of hearing it from me - so to have you and others contribute is VERY Welcomed.

yes, i will update again at the end of this month....

I also make a strategy for link building, i will post them aswell if i got success with them.......

Congrats man!
I started today and bought 2 EMD domains. My strategy is:
Stage 1: Make 10 sites. No autoblogs, only unique content.
Wait 2-3 monts.
Stage 2: Make SEO for Stage 1 sites and make more 10 sites.
Repeat until have 50+ EMD sites.
I hope that this is the way.
Btw - great thread, masive useful info. I read full thread for 4 hours, my eyes are too red now. :)
I wish all great success with Amazon marketing!

Mate, great going. All the best :-)

Life is between the
B and S!!

Well Facebook is great for Sure - but its not something that I use myself

I am a Seo Guy so I find this really easy now - and I don't worry about bans or stuff like that.

Plus like WhitePassion I use the same tools for clients - so my Seo cost is next to nothing other than time.

This thread is one way to do Amazon that I know 100% works - it may not be the "Best" Way or the most Efficient Way -- but if Seo is your thing - then you can put together 10--20 of these Sites and get a decent income each month.

All the best.
