There is another new writer on this board, he hasn't opened a BST just yet but I think his strength is writing from a 1st person perspective aka good for reviews. Danny1111 What hosting do you recommend for hosting 50+ sites?

Hosting is all about Visitors/Images/PlugIns/ Configuration so what works for one person may not work for another.

That being said Ive used quite a few - which I found from Web Hosting Talk - where they have discounts etc.

The final place I settled was WiredTree - as my sites rarely go down -- fast support - but you pay for it with slightly higher price ... in my opinion its better to pay that slightly higher price and have my Sites up earning money - than constantly going back and forth over downtime.

I bought some hosting from a BHW BST a while ago now - and it would go down for 2-3 weeks at a time -- I learned my lesson on this subject .. never again.

Anyway its a personal choice how you view it.

Short Story=No

Long story= I saw that guys thread about blackhatting in the 3rd world, I was pretty touched by his post and his willingness to stand up for his countrymen and others, I also noticed he had decent writing skills, so I offered to buy him a Jr VIP if he gave 15 members a free review copy of his writing so he can later earn some money online. I was one of the 15 people he wrote a review for, I gave him a topic and he did it review style (even though I did not ask for it that way)

This appears to be his strength, I am not 100% how he would write for general info or to try to pass as an expert on a subject but his 1st person review writing style was good.

I am sure if you gave him instruction on what you want he would have no trouble following them.

Certainly I'm sure no-one has an issue with actual customers of BST Services - discussing about it in this thread - Good or Bad -- but non BST Service Providers -- we just can't have those ...... Thanks For The Understanding.

(Just so its 100% Transparent : I have no affiliations with any service / host / provider or product mentioned in this thread --> I get zero commission/benefit from any of them -- every experience I have posted in the thread is from my personal use of those products/services.

these days my signature space is rented out by a BST Provider on a monthly basis - that is the only benefit I receive - and I have not used the service myself - so I couldn't tell you whether its good or bad -- and why to this point I have never mentioned it.)

I strongly encourage anyone to post their experience with products/services that help them to make money in relation to Amazon - that has always been the Case since Day 1.

No worries, edited only posted as a suggestion since you were having issues with an actual BST provider (as I have in the past) but if you try the BST's and things dont work out you can always go to the freelancer section, I have done this a time or 2 myself, mixed results.

My writers for the most part are not from BHW I source them outside of the forum from friends and friends of friends, I look for English Majors, teachers and the like and pay around $25 per 500 words.

Not everyone can afford that so search out BST's and looks for others willing to do the work, hell I have even had a decent article or 2 written on Fiverr before, I just wouldnt rely on it.

Yup I 100% understand that many people shop outside BHW for Writers - so no drama there

But its not good for anyone who is a BHW Member - who doesn't have a BST to solicit via PM -- this is not even an understanding of posting in the thread -- but its an actual forum rule.

Anyway I'm sure you get where I'm coming from -- I just want to try to make sure everyone has full disclosure up front..... I don't want this thread part of any potential Shit List.

All my websites dropped since the 20th of the month!!! I'm getting 30% of visitors I used to get. Anyone can explain this? Is it a google update or something? I used to get +100 clicks a day now it's 30!!!

For Those With Traffic Issues : How Many Sites Do You Have ? What Seo Have You Done ? Are You Doing Niche Sites or Larger Sites ? What Sort Of Keywords Are You Targeting ?

Images - I'm not sure about that - if someone owns it ie photographer and you make money from it - if they come after you then your going to have to pay up ..... many people may choose to ignore it but if your in it for the long run then just buy stock photos.

Traffic - I just rely on Seo mainly - so you can read the thread for my advice on that.... as you can see people tend to go too fast with Seo in the beginning wanting to make money faster -- but the problem is you can doom your Site and it becomes worthless - this is up to you guys to learn I guess.

Rome wasn't built in a day nor is an Amazon Empire. Also something you need to realize that it took me some time -- trial/error and a bit amount of money before I figured out how to make decent money from this --- so you have to go through some learning curve as well - you can't expect $100 days after 2 months - it just won't happen.

I'm just telling you this - so you don't have unrealistic expectations getting started ... I wish everyone many Sales today and all the best.

Thanks for this amazing thread I've been learning a lot!
All this is very new for me and I consider myself a total noob, but I've already started building my first MNS site, the process for the first time is extremely slow, I never worked with WP before and things move pretty slow.

About the stage I'm in: I am currently building my first site, It targets some nice keywords (in my opinion) and I have eCommerce and brands as my main competition (1-5), it looks pretty easy as they are not optimized (some even with no keyword in title etc), I've 5 articles I bought from NN and I think of writing reviews my self, will do this tomorrow. Using premium template I got from download section "karma", made some slight changes to it. And for tools I use TT and some great Italian/Spanish music as background motivation

Anyway, I carefully read all thread and I have some noobie questions, any help is much appreciated:

- SEO & Keywords: for example the main keyword, let's say, "Best wireless router" and it is followed by long tails like: best wireless router for gaming, best wireless router for business, best wireless router location. Now as I understand, long tails solve the problem of the user, but how to use those keywords? "Best wireless router" on the main page of my site and one different keyword on every article/review? should I focus only 1 keyword for page?
- How many keywords can be effectively targeted on a site? should I make 2-3 pages with same keyword to make it "stronger"? or just find new ones for each page?
- From your experience, is it better to use 'post' format or manually create new pages for my articles and reviews?
- Is it effective to have "product gallery" with many products? This on one hand, will give the users more options and maybe hit their interest, on the other hand, following the 'low amount of pages' concept - this means those products will lack reviews and will be just directly linked to Amazon from the gallery... How many products do you guys show in your site?
- Is any of you have experience with amazon keywords research services? as it seems extremely important to me, and as I invest $$$ i prefer pay 8-10$ more and not screw it with my wrong research (at least at start)
- How do you actually target a website to focus mainly on US visitors?

Now, I am not trying to be spoon fed or anything, It is pretty hard for me anyway and I'm sure I will make some mistakes, just don't want it to be too much mistakes, and I would really love the first site to success as it will bring HUGE motivation.
