It's hard to turn penalties around, even algorithmic penalties.

In my experience it's far easier to start again and this will save wasted effort when you (probably) fail at trying to fix things.

You could still target the same KW, even use the same articles...just get a new domain. For the articles you can 301 redirect them (risky) or wait for then to drop out of Google's index and put them on the new site or re-write them so they are unique.

* New Domain
* Rewrite Content so its Unique

Move Slower on Seo - no web 2 - no spamming comments as tiers etc - control anchor text % ( Month 1-3 is one strategy // Month 4+ is another)

you should PM the guy who loaded the files to BHW and ask him if there are any callbacks or did he share a developer theme option file.

also you should look in the footer section and see if there are any hidden links .. alot of people share files and stuff links for their site in the footer.

Unfortunately I am not a knowledgeable security person so you need to ask someone who knows more about it than me.

Also as mentioned before in the thread I use 2 security plugins on my site - one for the log in page and 1 to protect the server from people injecting stuff onto it ... the only thing with that is it doesn't get rid of things already on your server.

Anyway I'd also suggest reading up on WP Security either on BHW or Google and learning more about this -- there is nothing worse than Site Hacking / Sites Down - or people injecting code into your Sites ... alot of times people can also do this through non updated themes/plugins .. so yeah its an issue for most site owners.

Got an answer back from ThemeSector about the "Regular License" they have for their themes such as Avenue, Boulevard and Broadway.

you can use one purchased theme on one site. If you want to use it multiple times you can purchase it once per installation "

Which means I'm going to stick to the ones I downloaded, instead of spending nearly a grand on themes, for now at least.

hello, if i have lets say 10 different amazon sites should i put them on all different hosting accounts or is different ips on same, lets say, shared hosting account enough so as not to get bitten by the big G? what is best approach if i want to go with 5 sites right away.

If they are in 5 different niches then putting on 1 Shared Hosting Account is no problem ..even 10 Sites.

Really you only need to separate when your getting 2-5 sites in the same niche - chasing similar keywords.

Just keep in mind Shared Hosting - when you run a few sites -- slows down depending on images/plugins/graphics and what other people are doing with the server at the same time. So it tends to be efficient getting started

but as you make money - then you should be looking at a VPS initially then ideally Dedicated.

With Plugins you really have to make sure 1. there are no conflicts and 2. you configure them properly.

Normally when you change host they will migrate everything over for you - but if you have to do it yourself its not that hard.

wireless routers / cars / bikes / babies / dogs = same host no problem.

I've built 3 sites I'm starting to use amazon on.. so far 28 clicks into amazon (probably half those are me testing)... sites are getting small traffic .. 5 uniques a day or so... no sales yet... have purchased about 5 more domains for new sites I will also start.. just trying to figure out still what kind of posts will drive most traffic and getting into doing the seo... i'll update on my first sale

hey danny, where do you usually get product images (not stock photography). for example if i write a review about "wireless routh model 1234" where would i get that product image for the review page? amazon? what if i need different image sizes? what is the best approach for this? let me know. thanks

Most Wp Themes Resize Images Automatically - but otherwise search google for free image resize

Plenty of people share developer themes or remove callbacks you just have to check or ask .... really using these themes is just a short term solution till you generate the $$ to buy legitimate themes.

** General Comment : alot of people PM me or ask alot of questions trying to find easy ways to do things // or couldn't be bothered to learn and just want to outsource everything .. you know what I mean ... sure you maybe successful in the short run but its really not the way to be in this for the long term - because as soon as something goes wrong you don't know how to fix anything.

I know this is BHW and we all won't easy money --> but at the end of the day there really is very few short cuts with Amazon.
