I'm pretty sure new PBNs are dead (those built on 2017), they do not work anymore.
But PBNs built on <2016 still works.

I'm using PBNs from different years now and everyone of them actually ranked me with no problem.
On May 2017 I started my first project of 2017... and simply it doesn't work.
I published the contents on May and started my PBN campaign on 1st July 2017.
I almost drop 10 PBN backlinks over the last 1,5 month and serp didn't changed a bit.
There are crappy domain with crap content and 0 backlinks (and they are not using PBN, probably they do not even know what PBN are) on page 6 and they actually outrank me.

My domains are not spammed and my PBN is powerful enough, as I said I have quite some experience now.
And if the power were the problem, still I should outrank crap domains with no contents and no backlinks don't you think? I would have more power than a brand new domain for sure.

And onpage is good for sure.

The following you can see my serp changes. serp keep always the same from mid May

No changes? You've gained 20 places since May. It also takes much longer to see the effect of a PBN link since Fred update, 1.5 month is NOTHING.

We also don't know what kind of keyword you're targeting and how strong or clean your PBNs really are.

On June I did 0 linkbuilding, so you shouldn't consider June too.
I earned 10 places using 10 domains with 60 RD and >40 DR (Ahref rating)

I cannot prove the easy of the keyword, and consider I didn't ended my seo campaign, but last year I would have been on page 2 for this keyword after 10 backlinks dropped... I'm pretty sure about this.

A few things.

Do you have link diversity? - I've found after the FRED update if you point only PBN links all of the same type(i,e links from wordpress blogs in content) with no other link types they tend to be nulled.

Did you age your PBNs or purchase build and link all in the same day?

Also you need to give them time.

How about you be patient a little bit? Here's a 3900MS, $150+ average product price keyword:

I added 9 PBN links between March 29th and April 26th then 0 link building done ever since. The keyword was sitting comfortably at #18 for months and stayed there for roughly 3 months before it started to dance and is now sitting at #6, improving on a weekly basis.

On my latest test, PBNs started having an effect after 5-6 months. For 1.5 months my site wasn't even showing on the serps.

I think your PBNs suck... What doesn't work for you, it may works for others.

pulling this outta your ass, aren't ya?
Why would you think that? Site was new, wasn't showing anywhere on my keywords. Added 20ish PBNs, after 1 to 2 months it started showing 20th to 30th place, then after another two months it got to first page. After 6 months it became first place, 500k searches.

Link diversity is important these days. Only PBN links seem to be a huge flag for Google in 2017. I know some guys sending spam links to their website on purpose just to get lots of different link types and somehow it seems to work for them. Think about it what you want.

PBN's also work for me in 2017, but just it takes months until you see the FULL effect. The times of seeing results after 10-14 days is definitely over.

Right.. Proof or it didn't happen

You signed up today to tell us PBN is dead? You would have just use the search button and I am pretty sure you will see threads dating back to 2015 where they say PBN and even SEO in general is dead.

This is just proof that you have no idea what you're doing.

It doesn't happen a lot, but like all the replies agreed on, 1.5 months in nothing. Give it at least 4 - 6 months and don't build any new backlinks. Google is fighting spam now with killing spammers of boredom.

At the beginning of the year, it took bl's 6 - 8 weeks to see the effect. Now, you need 3 months at least to see a movement. So, leave the website alone and come to tell us what happened after 4 months from now :)

so much guess work, so little facts .. always the same when people talk about serp movement lol. anyways PBNs still work fine and if you do it properly it will keep working until google drops links as a ranking factor. which will never happen probably as its still one (if not the most) vital ranking factor (even google says that).

also these months of not seeing any movement or traffic is bullshit, then you're not doing it right (or you do it on purpose to stay under the radar).
