Yes, I see you changed the original post to say that you don't think panda is a myth. You have your own ideas of what makes a website panda-proof. However, many people experience penalties with 100% original, well-written content. The outline you gave doesn't work for everyone, websites that have problems originating from Panda updates.

"Penalty" is the keyword there bud. If you read my post I said that Panda DID happen but it was really a "slap" as "penalty" suggests there is nothing you can do until Google decides to "unpenalize" you.

Obviously everyone is seeing the title and deciding to flame me without actually reading my posts.

Obviously nothing is ever 100%. No website is 100% safe from any Google update. Nothing is going to work 100% of the time to get any website ranked in a certain spot.

What I am suggesting is for the most part fool proof though. Of course there will be exceptions.

Also I would say that every time Google has updated over the last 2 years, it's cost Ezine traffic. Article directories in general have been going downhill for a long time. Panda was only part of the equation.

It's also much easier to fix a personal website that's a couple thousand pages or less (and most are), then it is to cleanup a website that's over 1 million pages like ezine.

It's still pretty easy to backlink an ezine article and get it ranked. They just don't show in the top 10 by themselves as easily as they use to and that's for good reason, they shouldn't.

Just my opinion anyway and in the video I recommend for people to watch, Matt Cutts is basically saying the same thing I am.

And your saying your theory is 100% true and google can validate it as their religion?... If your 99% sure, it's a assumption.

If you have read more, you would see that google admit that panda update was an mistake as google dropped from PR10 to PR9 and some of the big places lost their rankings.... was it twitter or facebook which had hilarious drop?
If you want to play a good blackhat SEO game, get a good habit of doing diverse backlinks.

Btw... dublicate content... why so many news sites can stay so high if they share the same article? You can aswell find horribly hand-spun articles around news sites.
