Hey!

So as everyone (I hope) know that Moz Updated their stupid DA metric and made it even more stupid, but there are some good thing - link farm DA will now be as high as it should be.

My thoughts about the Moz DA/PA update.Sorry, but still completely irrelevant metric. My money site with backlinks from Forbes and all the biggest tech sites now has DA 21(48old) when my spam site with 100 backlinks from porn sites has DA 17 (DA9). This says everything.

So, what I wanted to say:

@BassTrackerBoats @MisterF @Diamond Damien

All the link sellers should update their threads and make a test review again as 99% their DA metric will be 0-5max. This will also sort out cheap shitty link sellers who should not even sell.

What else can we do to make link building better?

This should be in the suggestion forum..

It's just a useless metric honestly.
Ahrefs is way more accurate.

This is a good idea till you realize all websites got hit.

Not only pbn & link farms.

Either up or down, and everyone who sells real outreach or real guest posting (Outreach + content, not bribed) will get hit as well.

The quality of links you buy doesn't change bc of MOZ changing the algo, it's just a useless metrics.

You get what you pay for.

If you buy cheap PBN links, you get cheap, low quality links. Simple as that.

Quality doesn't change tho,but the price should if the seller had DA40+ PBN links who everybody adores and thought they are good, because of many RD's, but now their DA fell to DA5, it means it's complete shit and should not be presented as a top-notch PBN service.

This is targeted especially to PBN sellers who do not provide reports.

I've just checked one of my sites and it's 57. I'm sure it was nearer 30 before the update.

Absolutely agree with @Jeepy about the updating of different offers in the marketplace.
I've noticed some sellers have already started to only talk about PA (which hasn't yet but will be changed next, I'm sure).
Most of my own domains haven't moved much, but Web 2.0s have.
The biggest change I've observed are the tumblrs. They have - well - tumbled...

I think everyone would appreciate it if marketplace sellers would be forced to update the stats or if DA/PA would be removed completely.

But there would be a lot of work involved and BHW wouldn't want to lose any revenue so it's not in their interest I would assume :)
