Day 6 - 16.6.2023
1) Write the most important steps for the bot. // 80% done --> will utilize API calls with standard json output for the sites which have API and for those that don't have I will do regular scraping. The task was not fully finished because I actually started the day with task 2) below. Tomorrow will finish task 1) and will start coding on Sunday.
2) Improve the account farming because I see some problems now. Have few ideas to test. // ongoing; still performing some tests, but I found interesting patterns. Problem solving for these issues can be exciting sometimes haha.
Unplanned tasks:
1) Found an embarrassing bug in one site which has surely costed me $$$$ and I found it by accident. --> fixed
Future main tasks until the end of the month:
1) Account farming and testing
2) Perform tests with TS2 (traffic source 2)
3) Finish one website template and order translations for the non-native EN speaking GEOs. I want to enter other markets as well.
Future main tasks for July:
1) Add more products for promotion to all sites using TS1 (traffic source 1).
2) Keep on testing TS2. Testing phase will be completed and considered successful when all of the following conditions are met:
- ROAS is 2x or more
- I can keep the ROAS 2x or more for at least few weeks per niche/product
- I don't experience account bans (it's simply harder to scale when you operate on your own; not that the bans bother me much)
Overall thoughts so far:
Although I am having some problems, things are going good, but I am not performing the tasks at the pace I want. I will work on improving my consistency and work schedule.

Today I didn’t work much, but that was planned, so tomorrow I will continue on schedule.

2) Migrate UA to GA4 for one of the sites. // done
For all of my clients’ sites we are already using GA4, but since I use custom tracking along with a bit more complex setup I have decided to perform the switch just for one site first, let the data accumulate over the next 2-3 days and check if all works properly.
If all is good I will immediately switch the other sites as well. If not, I will have to do some debugging to see what’s wrong and obviously have to be ready before 1st July.
Will write tomorrow.

Day 8 - 18.6.2023
Today was not productive day at all. One bot previously built didn’t perform as expected and it turned out that CSV files from 3rd party sites were getting malformed which was the last possible thing I could think of. The fix took 5 minutes but it took me few hours to find what was the problem.
I hate when these things happen but it is what it is. Will continue working tomorrow.

I have lots of things to finish but hopefully there won’t be unplanned tasks to do. Looking forward to a more productive week than this one.

Overall things are going as planned, but task 1) took a little bit longer than expected. Lots of new campaigns were launched in the testing phase. This month's earnings so far are nothing special, but I will do an update in the beginning of July anyway. As mentioned in the first post, I will update on a monthly basis the earnings for the 6 sites (and new sites which will be added in the future).
I am testing some new farming strategies now and will add in 3 more accounts these days for future use. Regarding UA to GA4 migration, it seems that everything works properly, so I will switch the other sites this week as well.
Tomorrow I will work until the early afternoon and then will travel for some work. Will do an update later in the evening.

Day 10 - 21.6.2023
Planned tasks:
1) Complete the new bot. // 15% done (some sites are easier to automate, so I am writing 15% progress)
I am focusing solely on the bot now. 1 site automated, 10 more to go. This week I will also migrate all sites from UA to GA4. Will go with 1 site/day starting from tomorrow morning. The process will take me 20-30 minutes per site with recreation of the goals (now conversions) and some setups in the tag manager as well.
The future tasks I noted on Day 6 although they don't require much focus will be postponed, because I am behind schedule with the bot. Haven't coded in a while and it's taking me more time than usual especially with some regex testing and not very obvious CSS selectors. Either way though I must finish this asap, because it will save me tons of time and help with scaling up.
After I get this completed, then I will continue with more daily stuff to do. Tasks from day 6 will be postponed. Friday will be an off day this week.

I've been coding for about 10 hours and actually there were some problems with site #1 for scraping which I managed to solve though. I automated one more site and the third one is halfway done. So site #1 and #2 are ready. Site #3 is 50% done. I thought that site #3 will be easier to automate, however there are some dynamic elements which you can't get with any of the ordinary ways, so I've come up with a nice workaround.
There are 8 more sites left for automation. Tomorrow I will travel and most likely I won't be able to do any work.

For 1) I almost finished site #5, however there were some tasks for it which slowed me down until I figured out how to do them. I will finish it in 30 minutes and will do this tomorrow. Then will move to the next site.
Regarding 2) I will do some changes for custom reporting but this will be on Wednesday after more data is accumulated.

Had to do some offline tasks which took me about 3 hours, so I couldn't work more today.

Now we are moving to the high end spectrum targeting low and mid 5 figure services. CPCs are triple than what we used to promote so far and my task is to optimize every single thing for maximum ROI. We will see how it goes.

Here are the earnings for June for the 6 sites. I am rounding the numbers without including cents. For each site you will see the profit after ad spend, product cost, workers' cost, etc. - basically after all expenses. After that I am listing some additional expenses which are subtracted from the total sites' earnings.
For July a priority will be site #6, then we will continue with the other sites as well. My goal is to get each site to 1k+ EUR/mo profit with TS1 (traffic source 1) within 2-3 weeks (total 5x 2-3 weeks = 10 to 15 weeks for the remaining sites without number #2) and also expand to 10 sites as a beginning. I will prepare and set up 3 more ad accounts (have 1 already prepared) for the new 4 sites that will be created and launched in July.
This month I will start experimenting with TS2 but I will use some throwaway accounts and cheap domains, so in case of bans, it won't be a problem. I have a game plan in my head, but will also check out some spy tools for additional ideas/inspiration on what competitors are doing.
Then TS2 will be integrated for each site - I see this happening around September. Apart from bans, the other most important thing is not only the profit but the profitable longevity of the campaigns as well. I will see how things will go.
The downside is that July and August will be weaker months in terms of earnings because of the sites' niches. Will try to compensate with some seasonal products.
