Some fodder for your brains if you're interested in copyright law in the U.S. The video below is well worth the watch.
One of the key takeaways that I thought was a brilliant loophole of American capitalism is that the Internet Archive's founder, Brewster Kahle, owns a book retailer called Better World Books which he uses as a seller to the Internet Archive after the IA takes a "donation" from a user who's looking for a book they don't already have in their digital library. So, despite the IA being a nonprofit, this guy still gets a cut of all those donations
This is why anonymous offshore hosting is awesome. We need more of them!
