t0mmy, do you have all of this automated? id imagine it would be pretty beneficial to have it just automate the steps to gather all links/metrics/data
 
Thanks a bunch t0mmy. I didn't know about the Moz four month bargain. I use an ahrefs reseller but as you said it's a better idea to diversificate the backlinks report sources.

Cool thread. The only issue with using the mainstream backlink analysis platforms, or platforms using their api, is that people who block their crawlers via the .htaccess of their pbn site. Even for a local query where people are using 10-20 pbn to help with rankings, without having that data the reverse engineering will be in vain. Cool concept but in verticals where networks are being used you will fall short with this one...unless you know how to dig up the pbn.

You use to be able to use Google search operators with some success but that went down the drain. Now you need to be a Jedi... :-)

Thanks for the great information. I have used all three and Ahrefs and Majestic always provided many more links than Moz. I like Moz for other things, however, if you have the budget Ahrefs and Majestic have provided me much better results. Like t0mmy said, if you pay for Majestic quarterly it's a great buy. Ahrefs recently raised prices and it's much more expensive than Majestic (paid quarterly).
 
Why does majestic show totally different TF/CF when you add www before a domain name, shouldn't it be the same for domains that auto add www?

Not actually sure, a lot of that metric is based on links.. it could be different based on how the links its processing have been built as in with or without the www maybe.
 
NIce guide thre, landed at this thread when i searched for SEOMOZ trial. Sames, the link is not working anymore. Can any one check for me? May is country limited?
