Agreed. I want to see others show this type of dedication, give the community some incentive to want to share!

Haha this reminded me when I shared a method to get dropped d9mains for just the registration price and everyone was like "TAKE IT DOWN!! OMG OMG!!" HAHAHA Even people pmed me to delete it!!

If i cant share that i dont know what i can hahaha!!!

Hats-off man, you are really AWESOME . Competitor analysis is worthy & it provides us PURE GOLD info but only if we're ready to put some time in it & YEAH it is neglected by many noobs.

By doing competitor analysis, one also learns various tricks & tactics that are not available anywhere. While making a site I always consider top ranking sites for main keywords & it works GREAT! Thanks OP for such an informative share, KEEP sharing such practical stuff for noobs like me & others .

Really good guide, thanks tommy!
Although those guest post links are really hard to duplicate, especially if they are actually PBN ones, which you can't unless you know the owner/webmaster of that PBN.

However, this is good to find forum and comment kinda links which are easy to duplicate, niche relevant and most importantly make your profile look completely natural.
After all, if you are serious about your SEO, you should have your own PBN by now so you don't rely on duplicating other people's guest posts or PBN links.

I understand your research and i think this is a way to go, but it's not my way to be honest, the thing is that 80% of the keywords are dominated by sites with such high DA (and i mean Google DA not that shitty and useless MOZ DA) that it is almost impossible to outrank them with the same or even better backlink profile

This is a start but people should understand that if you wanna take the Yelps, Angielists, WebMD, Ticketmasters that dominate the SERPS in your niche for years you really need to be in it for the long haul and have a view 100 to a view 1000 bucks and a lot of time to invest.

That is why i like to do hit en runs, because you can outrank them for a view weeks if your fast with spam, 301, SAPE and PBN's, cus in the end no matter what type of strategy i use, i will lose it every time from those type of authority sites that hold 80% of all real money making keywords, doesn't main this post isn't a great way to do competition research, it undoubtedly is ...

Thanks for the read Tommy

As always, you are making BHW membership to be worth it.
Thank you for this straight to the point guide.

Excellent post. Thanks for a very detailed walkthrough and explanation about analyzing competitor's backlink profiles. I think this is a great model, and one many won't attack due to the perceived effort required. The thing to keep in mind though is the long-term residual value of ranking consistently, and having increasing niche authority.

Sure it's going to be a lot of work, but unlike all these BH projects that dry up, or become saturated - real pure SEO like this is never going to get saturated because most people are too lazy to work hard and get a long-term reward - they would rather work a little and get fast money, even though it mostly leads to dead ends and frustration. Props for showing a method that has worked for a long time, and the tools required to implement it.
