Nice guide Zso, just made a wordpress.com blog related to my site that is dancing in position 17-20. Hope your method can boost my site to page one. :D

My blog has 3 articles, 1 video and 5+ images. I will build some PBN links to this blog. (hope this blog will rank and not get deleted before I can execute the 301 lol)

I will report after a week.

This method look simple and straight to the point. I will try this on a brand new site and see the effect. I might share my results for to see. Am going to start this tomorrow and hopefully, i will see some ranking before next sunday. :) thank you for the share Zso.

Thanks for this share, i am just in the process of creating my first PBN so this is going to be an interesting experiment for me to try. I have spent many years being stung by SEO companies before finally deciding to go it alone and I have learnt a lot of this forum and already seeing the benefits in my rankings :-)
 
10-20 web 2.0s and a handful of bookmarks/profiles...is that really enough to rank a wordpress subdomain?

Depends on your keyword competition level, check out the backlink profile of top ranking sites for your keyword.
 
Webeden javascript redirects still work too.

wait what? what do you rank ? "no one ever will search it " keyword? and how is that different from paying 10$ for a fresh domain and 301ing it?

Wordpress.com sites rank very easily. Also, if you send in 1000s of links in matter of days they will remove your blog. That's why op is suggesting the easy way. Why don't you try it first before asking questions?
