Domain mapping is not the same as a 301 redirect, I don't know how blogger or tumblr works but something tells me that if they allowed a 301 redirect I would have known.

Make sure you get these backlinks indexed and wait a few days. Now if you weren't crazy to go for 'payday loans' with this kind of setup then you should be ranked already.
