Time for a cool share

This is The Big Dog Income System Share #1 and that means there's a ton other cool shares to come.

Y'all know how to 301 redirect a self-hosted wordpress blog but what you don't know is how to 301 redirect a wordpress.com blog. Pretty cool stuff, right? I'm sure some of you are already seeing dollar sings all over.

Here's the thing, wordpress.com is one of the authority properties that rank really fast and easy. Throw some backlinks at a wordpress.com blog and you'll see it ranking for many keywords (this depends on your strategy).

Build yourself a nice wordpress.com blog with 3-4 articles, 10+ images, 1-2 youtube videos. Make sure you've got all the relevancy in place. Have decent on-page done like optimized title, relevant articles (article is fine to have the keywords about 3-4 times per 400 words) and some heading tags and a little bit of keyword in image alt tag.

After that, do your SEO backlink technique to get the blog ranked. If you don't know how to rank (I feel bad for you son) do some old school link building like 10-20 unique content web 2.0 blogs, 20-30 social bookmarks and maybe a few web 2.0 profiles. Make sure you get these backlinks indexed and wait a few days. Now if you weren't crazy to go for 'payday loans' with this kind of setup then you should be ranked already.

Here's where the cool stuff comes in...

Wordpress.com will let you redirect the blog for $10/year, you'll have to send them your ID and go through their phone call verification. No jk, it's only $10.

The process is super simple:

Go to /wp-admin and login to your blog
Click Store and as you click Store the store should open (logical stuff) with all the useless things they want to sell you. What's not useless and interests us is the Site Redirect which I think you can see somewhere in the right side. It's $13 instead of $10 but anyway buy that, make sure you're careful to do that setup right and you're done.

Ping that blog if you're in a hurry, and you'll see your site replace the wordpress.com blog within 24-48 hours.

Don't stress if the blog doesn't rank before redirecting cause even if it doesn't, your actual site (the one you want to point the 301 redirect to) will combine it's authority with the wordpress.com authority and is going to show higher than were it was. But anyway your goal is to use the wordpress.com's authority to rank easy and fast and then proceed with the 301 redirect so your site gets the highest ranking possible.

Extra-hot-tip: search for other web 2.0 blogs that allow 301 redirects.

A 301 redirect might simply work great especially from Wordpress. I would like to give this a try but I have a few questions

How could I take care of those phone call verification?. Is there some way around that part.?

Would Wordpress simply ban or remove if i redirect it to a landing affiliate site ?

You don't have to do any of that, the phone verification part was a joke.

Wordpress doesn't give a damn where you redirect it.

The redirect is instant too, once you pay $13 the redirect takes its place.

I was thinking about the same idea since past few days. thanks for the share :)

Hah ok. I will give this try soon enough

mass backlinking to wordpress.com blogs rank fast but they delete very fast if you do this.

will they still 301 redirect if they ban your account?

I redirected one of my tier 1 wordpress blogs, let's see what happens

I have some sites just like this idling, so would like to know if I should bother with the 301. Lemme know!

Thanks for the information, will be trying on one of my rankings 2.0's in my niche!

Good info, but keep in mind that wordpress blogs gets deleted if many links are sent to blog in short time. May be we can use 301 redirects from sites like tinyurl and blast those.

The title says "The Big Dog Income System #1". Does it means there are more amazing shares like this to come?

Yep. Pretty sweet share OP. Have some with good PA and obviously high DA. Should provide a nice boost.

Seems like a great method, but i am not really comfortable to sent them a copy of my ID

I built some links on my wp blog using gsa ser .... it had 0 content and they still managed to delete it . Should I build links to it via tiers or is there a safe limit of links that can built to wp blogs per day using gsa ser ?

You can avoid submitting your ID if you send a copy of your birth certificate, and a recent photo for verification.

To the OP: have you actually tested this against websites with/without the WP blog? I personally have tried a similar experiment months ago, and saw little difference compared to a link shortener.

Another cool trick you guys can look at is redirecting various "web 2.0" blogs to your site. For example, Blogger lets you redirect your .blogspot.com to your own domain, but you still have to use their hosting. Again, I have not seen any difference between redirects from blogs and from other sites.
