Does anyone actually see the power of this site from a making money point of view? there is also a crappy sales letter that has gone viral too!

It at least guarantees that for the shared hosting cost, you will get the power of a dedicated server all for yourself - yours being the only site 'served' on it.
If you want more speed and power than that then you can always --- --- --- get out and push. And don't forget to light the candles in their lonely spooky basement-based data center.
