It has been a long time since I updated.
The pursuit of building this authority site has been temporarily paused due to the availability of a much more lucrative idea.
I have started a pharma site that sells physical products to people. Have been getting sales from social media and forums exclusively.
I was also a part of the DominatorHouse social media tool giveaway. The help was monumental in achieving high sales.
I have been using the reddit tool to identify relevant posts and commment on them using multiple accounts.
I just scrape all posts with "keyword" on reddit and then comment with a discount code.
Something like:
"Hey, if you ever want to buy *keyword* online without the long shipping delays, consider buy it from *mysite*. They ship quickly. You can use coupon code XYZ to get a 25% discount on your next purchase."
I have easily received sales upwards for $1k just through this commenting. Other social media work is managed manually. Twitter and facebook is more of relation building rather than spamming.
I have also found relevant forums related to my product and managed to receive a good amount of sales. One of these forums even allow me to put up my own thread after I included a 20% discount coupon in this form: "forum-name20". They were happy to give their readers a 20% off with a coupon code that had their forum name. Easy sales. One thread = 10 sales in just 15 days. I will get more as more people review the service after using it.
As of today, I am trying to use redditDom to boost the karma of my reddit accounts automatically by upvoting back and forth between them. I am still testing things out as far as this is concerned. Will make a separate thread once I figure out a reliable way to do it.
