Testing Ideas on Facebook with FB Ads?

Hey guys,

I have a few ideas for various free courses, where people could sign up, and then I'd try to sell some products along the way. All products would be in the same niche, so I'd need only one FB site (fan page).

I wonder, do you ever test ideas like this? And if so, do you use Post Boost option or do you instead drive traffic directly to your landing page (an article or a sales page) and try to capture leads there?

Thanks, good to know, HoneyHelper! I did some tests with Like Pages, Boost Post and CPA Button promo campaigns.

- Likes campaign didn't bring any subscribers.
- Boost Post produced 8 subscribers with 1.5 USD spent per subscriber.
- CPA Button did nothing for me. I don't know why, but when setting up the promo, the ad picture looked good on desktop preview, while I didn't see it on the mobile preview. Maybe that's why I didn't get a single subscriber, I don't know.

I just want to test ideas first before creating a full course and a website.
