this has happened to my account a couple of times in the past few months I've had it, i'm at 33k now
At what point do they ban your account and do they send a few warnings first?

Temp ban is quite common, but you should restart your follow.

Start from 80-120 a day and slowly increment, you probably went too fast.

i follow 1200-1500 a day never had a problem its just that i started FL up late one day and it was speeding through the tasks and that fucked me over
