Hi everyone.

I have been running Telegram Ads recently and I'm having some issues with campaign performance.

My ads get approved, but the results are not as consistent as I expected. Some campaigns get decent impressions, while others seem to spend very slowly or bring very little traffic.

A few things I’m struggling with:
  • Low impressions despite having a decent budget
  • High CPM on some campaigns
  • Very different results from similar ads
  • CTR changing a lot between campaigns
  • Some ads getting good reach but poor conversions
  • Not sure whether the issue is the creative, targeting, bid, or channel selection
I’ve tried changing the creatives and targeting, but I’m still not getting stable results.

For those currently running Telegram Ads, have you faced something similar?

What changes helped you improve your CPM, CTR, traffic, or conversions?

Would really appreciate any advice or recent experience.

One thing I would check first is the ttargeting and channel selcetion. Different audiences can give very different CPM and CTR even with the same creative I would test smaller audience segaments, campare CTR comversion rate separately and move budget toward the combinations that actually convert rather than just getting cheap impressions.

I would test targeting and channel selection separately first. Small changes there can make a big difference in CPM and CTR. Also judge campaigns by conversions, not just reach.

I'd look at channel selection before changing the creative again
I've had similar ads perform completely different just because one set of channels had active users and the other looked good on paper but sent almost no useful clicks

That’s pretty normal with Telegram Ads.

Performance can swing a lot between channels even with similar creatives, so the main thing is testing a few different channels and bids, then cutting the ones that spend slowly or don’t convert.

I would test one thing at a time instead of changing everything together. Creative, audience, bid and placement can all affect the results. Also, don’t judge a campaign only by CTR, cheap clicks don’t always mean better conversions.

It's really not uncommon to find this on telegram. Especially different results for similar Ads, You will have to Tweak your targeting. You will be surprise the difference this will make
