Hi to all,

Can you give us some proven ways or techniques to increase visitors for my blog?

First start by having a good blog with original content. Build it up to a point where it makes senseto promote anything but ddon't promote right away. Have patience and let the blog gain a natural following then sell in the niche.

Social Media works the best. Be active on your social profiles and share some unique content with your readers :)
 
Social networking- create FB page, twitter and other social profiles where your target visitors hang out. You'll get real targeted traffic from social networking sites. Create great content and post it in high quality blog networks and guest blogs relevant to your niche. Do some social bookmarking, blog commenting and web 2.0 site links to your blog post and guest post links. By doing so you can see a gradual raise in you ranking over a course of time, so that you'll get real organic traffic from search engine. Good luck with your blog. :)
 
depends on your keywords. start with easy to rank keywords and you can get by with good on page seo and some backlinks. actually the best way to build traffic is offline. notice how the extroverts have no issues at all getting visitors to their websites without any IM knowledge.

my ex-girlfriend had a blogspot with 300 posts and 1000+ comments and thousands of people linking to her blog, but she was just talking about her day to day activities. she then closed down the blog, and when i searched for it, the url is now being used by guess what - an IMer trying to rank for some search terms.

she had a PR of 3 before she closed it down.
 
To be honest OP that was a really bad question to ask because its been asked and answered 1000 times before and the only answers your getting is from other members looking to get their post # up

Most of the outlined ways from the replies here are good ways to increase traffic. But most important would be to have a kick-ass content that people would want to share it.
 
The most cost effective, if executed correctly: Social Networking. Large flow of visitors quickly. It takes the most endurance (on your part) because social stuff drops almost as fast as it comes.
 
Marketing and quality content are two important components to increase traffic in blogs .There are so many ways to get traffic on your blog. Some is paid like Seoclerks, on the other hand some are free methods like promotional video, submit press release, etc
 
try social media, fb, tumblr, twitter, etc. Make sure your content is quality. Get backlinks

You can advertise also using email marketing. That technique is so good . You can pm for help if you want i will gladly help. U.S. Lists for marketing is great for SEO
