Switch a site from Godaddy.com to my server with Dreamweaver

I have a domain that I purchased from godaddy.com and I currently manage it and work on it through godaddy. But I also have dreamweaver downloaded onto my computer. Is there a way to move the site from godaddy over to dreamweaver and manage it through that because I think it is easier and there is so much more I can do to make it better?

Don't you need a webhost? I think your talking about dreamweaver the program right?

I am talking about Dreamweaver the program, yes.

But no I did not pirate Dreamweaver. My brother had it but then got a different computer with some other software on it so he gave the program to me to put on my computer so it is legit.
