Suggestions for Best Free Non Google Analytics Tool

I'm currently using google analytics, but as I create more sites, I would like to keep google out.

What are your suggestions/opinions on the best free alternatives to google analytics? Mainly i'm looking to hear from people who actually use or used the product and what they liked, and maybe why they left.

Clicky.com is better than Google analytics in my opinion

IMO, Clicky is a direct alternative to Google analytics. It provides a lot of similar features and some additional ones also.

As per my opinion, you can go with Clicky it is the best alternative to google analytics.

I use statcounter, heard good thing about piwik and yandex metrica but never tried them

Clicky is better then GAnalytics anyway. Especially their real-time reporting and referral traffic stats and reporting are really good.

Thank you to everyone for the suggestions. I had said I was looking for a free one. I just signed up for clicky, its not free. I will be using it for 20-30 sites soon.

Is google analytics something that lets google discover your site is Black hat ?

In the options for making accout i unchecked 'share data with google' boxes

Yandex.Metrica - free and better alternative to GA. I plan to switch on it too. The only thing that stops me is the history in GA. But the sooner you switch, the faster this problem will be gone...

You may try Clicky as an alternative to GA or if you a have WP site, you may try the plugin - Jetpack.

So far, Clicky is the best alternative to google analytics, there's a free plan also. But I would suggest getting a paid one as it's very cheap.

Yandex is pretty good, clicky is also pretty good out of the box...

But I really like Heap Analytics. I think the data they give you is much better than alternatives.
