suggestion for wordpress hosting.

Background: about a year ago i made the mistake of purchasing a wix subscription and making my website on there (website looks great its just waay to slow) and since then i've put the actual website on the back burner while i work on my social media presence in order to gain traffic from there when the time is right.

Question: Now im looking to create my website on the wordpress platform. So what is the the preferred hosting company? i know that wordpress offers theirs own package is theirs sufficient?

-will the hosting be able to support 1M+ page views a month? (yes ambitious, but i believe its very much attainable in the next year)
-it will be a news/blog type site with an store.

Firstly, do you mean Wordpress .org or .com ?
 
Well, 1M+/mo users needs powerful VPS at least. So I'd recommend Hostwinds for that.

What will the website be about? If you are looking for something very affordable, have a look at HoboHost.
 
Really any good and Great web host can do this for you. Most host that claim to offer wordpress hosting are just putting on a shared server with there regular shared hosting customers so dont let the marketing gimmicks trick you on that.
 
Any basic cpanel can be used for wordpress, as far as i know. Stay away from "dot.easy" as they will ask for blood to cancel your subscription.

- Amazing speed connectivity (pages load super fast),

Bluehost seems fine for wordpress, easy to install too.
 
Never buy your hosting depending upon the traffic you 'MAY' have. Buy it for what you have right now. You can always upgrade.
 
Bluehost & Hostwinds is good for Wordpress however if you're have budget then you should try VPS hosting and install Wordpress on your own.
