CNN's traffic from 108M/mo in december to 87M/mo right now. KW down from 32M to 29M
BBC's traffic from 100M/mo in december to 92M/mo right now. KW down from 35M to 34M
So they just dont fucking care :D For us those numbers would be life changing

So any idea of where it's coming from? A lot of legit websites has been impacted and beside "This is not a technical issue", not constructive criticism has been made by Google.

How did you get stats?
 
My new posts are also getting indexed while the old ones are still nowhere to be seen.

Same here, this is a major indexing and keeping pages in the index issue. surprisingly they haven't figured it out yet.
 
so one page that was making the bulk of the site's income got absolutely destroyed and is now sitting at 40th spot. I'm making a lot of changes to content and keywords and noticing that ranking are bouncing like crazy from first page to 4th but eventually ends up settling on the 4th page. I'm wondering if any of you tried making changes to the content to fix the issue? Or tried adding power backlinks?

I modified content in all my websites, but still waiting for an improvements

I did the first time my site tanked. Granted, the only thing I did was to change the title of the page. A couple days later, my rankings were back.... only to tank again a few days ago. I'm thinking of doing a revamp of a lot of the content of the article to see what moves the needle. I'm waiting for the page to stop dancing in the serps first though so I know if it's what I'm changing or if its google doing it's thing again.
 
Okay. I have done some research on this and I have came to the conclusion that the update hasn't targeted everybody.

If you were affected, it was for a reason. Maybe your site has weak content, or it does not provide any value. In other words, your site may have thin content or something like the sort.

I noticed I had some of these issues on my site which was affected.

But depending on what niche you're in. I've seen a lot of SPAM ranking page 1 since these updates started rolling in and it's ridiculous. This is when I thought Google was just being flat out dumb (they still kinda are) but ranking LQ parasites, and domains that look like a freaking IP address.

I see a lot of domains/keywords being ranked for the wrong search terms as well. And I have no words for that. Hopefully they fix that issue.

But if you do your research and find blogs in your niche that been around since, let's say, 2015, you will notice that all of their content on their site is ranked in the SERPs. This blog in my niche has been around I think since then and I can see that they must have over 50 pages indexed right now, which is perfect. They weren't affected by any update and they never will be because their blog doesn't have thin content and provides so much value that it will be ranked forever.

So that should be the end goal if you never want your sites to tank. It should be ideal to look out for these high DA domains.

I'm just giving time for Google to figure there shit out before I start making changes to my site.

I'm expecting them to make some more changes to fix their mistakes.
 
Guys what do you think to move all content in a new domain and deindex the old domain from google? Can works?
