Sudden Ranked Drop? Google Algo Update?

All I do is read your comments guys about deindexing pages.

But I'm observing a strange phenomenom for the last 2 or 3 days - my indexed pages are growing more and more.

At the beginning it was 262 results in G for my site (that's exactly how many pages I have). Yesterday the number of indexed pages was 424, now it's 529.

However, I can only reach to page 26 of the results, and G says only the most relevant results are displayed, entries similar to the 262 already displayed are omitted.

Same here.

Some new bullshit happening since last friday.

After getting back my traffic from the last core update, today all my keywords disappear!

I'm so annoyed...

Every time I see my rankings getting somewhere, Google comes out with an update that smacks me back down.

Wc to the club. I am scared to make new websites after jan 7th. Share more info. Whole website deindexed or still few pages r indexed. Check with site:domain.com and site: domain.com/url.

Since when your website was deindexed or lost ranking? It appears that they are after certain websites since Dec. 2019 and Jan. 2020. Knowing the approximate date and the type of website could help.

This morning.

You must have been hit with today's update (Feb 3rd or 2nd) it appears that they have done some tests back in January, December and moving full force with it now. What kind of website is it if you don't mind asking ...

Reexamine your keywords placement/density. I have a feeling that's one of the main factors. Those dicks from google might use complex algorithms to through people off but if you look at the sentence(s) or a combination of what shows in SERP for a keyword you target, you might get an idea what they favor today. If you lost your ranking you have nothing to lose with experimenting with it.

omg its getting worse
is this gonna going on forever or ya'll think they gonna fix this issue?

It appears that there are two separate issues here, a small number of people here can't get their posts indexed and the other group is losing ranking while having their posts indexed. While I understand your frustration with indexing, it's important to distinguish between those two. It'll save you time and effort.

This is pissing me off as well. Most of my sites got tanked. Lost rankings, somehow some KWs still ranked when site:domain.com still shows my main domain. It's like it's penalized then it's not. If anything it's a very slow penalty, never seen anything like these updates before.

I purchased a new domain to test if I could rank my KWs again. One posts ranks then loses it's position later. The site is indexed and everything seems okay, but it's very hard to rank any keywords.

I really believe Google is favoring websites with very high DA instead of /other websites. Basically, they're rewarding shit websites that have a lot of strong backlinks compared to a website that has little to none.

Very annoying. But I may start some new projects for testing purposes.

New approach: Does anyone find its hitten websites on this database?

Traffic drops correlate often with an entry... :-/

Out of curiosity, the pages that are losing traffic but still ranking - do they show rich snippet results and the questions asked drop down? I went through something similar last year for a high traffic keyword where images took over the top section, followed by 'similar questions' that would extend on each click and ultimately keep people away from the site that was ranking. I noticed that alot of 'educational' pages/posts were hit such as the 'how-to' and 'examples' searches which are now answered in search results without a click through needed. My impressions were the same (bullshit) but clicks dropped a huge amount.

hmm I was thinking, we just no body doing site which are not dam famous or influcence like those big corporation sites , CNN, BBC, etc companies. I wonder they got like us so panic etc ? check and check the ranking etc?

Just wonder their site got also affected or not , or they don't bother much since they already got big traffic daily anywhere
