Don't worry, don't panic if you have done everything good.
Created backlinks in right places.
If you didn't, then you have to make sure you should rework your website and backlink strategy.

Guys this is a serious issue now it’s just not one or two members it seems many are effected and instead of multiple threads let’s make one mega thread and discuss which niches got hit

Makes you wonder with so many algo updates in 2019 if google are just deliberately messing with the ranking positions. I've never seen so many updates in 1yr.

Huge drop in rankings and visitors Yesterday (17th of December) and it still seems the same Today (18th of December)
Very strange, had a great website with proper content and links which was ranking top 1-5 for various keywords.
Now the ranking seems to be overtaken by non-related websites and parasite pages(Medium, Smore, Issuu)
Even one page which copied the content from one of my pages and uploaded it to Issuu.

Huge drop in rankings and visitors Yesterday (17th of December) and it still seems the same Today (18th of December)

hopefully this will be fixed. I took a 25% hit.

remove your disavow file and you should see ranking going back..... only use disavow tool when you get hit with a google penalty; otherwise you will do more damage to your site

i have done few single variable testing to test out this and they all ended up with the same result: disavow file hurts your ranking.... no one, besides google knows what are toxic backlinks...
others have done similar testing and ended up with the same result.

Guys, I am not going to lie: 70% of my websites (maybe around 12) have been hit by this "update". I woke up this morning and couldn't believe what I saw. The rankings went straight from the Top 3 to >50.
None of my websites got de-indexed. I got no message on GWMT. The last few weeks I didn't build a single backlink to them. Added content to a few of them.
One keyword went back from >50 to #2 today. Other keywords came to #30 or just disappeared. No idea what the fuck is going on with this.
And also no idea what the fuck is going on with Google? How the hell can they bring so many updates? And then without any explanation and no one knows whats going on. Its such a joke of a company.

That happens, when you use Angela backlinks strategy.
This is my identical situation. 10 websites, 2 got hit and drastically lost 80% visitors, 4 lost around 15-20% visitors, 2 increased around 20% and 2 have remained unchanged
