Sudden Ranked Drop? Google Algo Update?

Guys, put the niches of your affected sites at least so we can eventually come to some conclusions what is going on..

Health - Clean, only advices about sports. No affiliate, no pills, no monetization except of the sale of guest post. (But always in very clean, handwritten articles etc.)

Gaming - Only news about gaming. 1 post out of 50 is a gaming mouse price comparison. But where I hadn't put an affiliation yet. There's just the text.

I said the "niche at least" - the more info we have, the better we can understand the update.
All im saying this info is useless. And what you're gonna do if you find out if Steve's website in the same niche got hit too?

Here you go, someone mentioned tech, supplement and baby niches. So tell me why did my websites in the same niches got hit

9 Websites - Not any movements on any of them except the Analytics bug yesterday. Niches: Garden/Home improvement/Automotive/Adult/Construction/Coupons/SEO/E-commerce

Edit: Both expired and new domains

2 of websites got affected and both was EMD domains , I met moved to top 20 of 80K keyword with 2-3 month old website , and now it suddenly on 84th for main kW ... Others still normal

Not that I'm doubt you but can anyone confirm this? I did use this a few months ago for the first time and positions got down indeed. The links pointing to the website where kinda bad (imo).

Website had position #1/#2, fell down to page 2/3 and now slowly climbing up with avg. position 9.

Removing the file will do good, @fb3003?

i suggest to remove it and see what happens in 2 weeks .. you will be surprised.

This update absolutely makes no sense. Some of my sites which are clean as f*ck got hit. Not any shady backlinks built to them, all content HQ & unique... WTF.. And at the other side I've got some boosts to some sites which I did make backlinks to them and tried to manipulate Google's algorithm.

2 Sites dropped.. 1 to 4 and 3 to 4...

Art entertainment niche, both had couple of redirect 301 of quality expired domains (added 5 months ago)

As an owner of an SEO agency, and collaborating with other SEO experts, I can assure you this info may be mandatory in some cases. By comparing website during the EAT update, a lot of my friends found out which common point they had & had not and could narrow down improvement to make.

Don't pretend something is useless because you cannot understand it.

Well the locksmith page I am doing SEO for went up big time.. While my own personal site suddenly saw a big decline in rankings. I am sure this will get sorted out (both sites are legit with unique content).

i also noticed slight improvement for non really relevant keywords. while relevant are dropping.

2 of my sites got hit somehow, I have no idea what the issue is. Some of the rankings are still there, some are vanished and some dropped over 50 spots or more.

Site 1 (US niche):

Site 2 (Dutch niche):

Both sites were build on very strong auctioned domains.

So far this is the strangest update I've ever seen.

A lot of niches has been revealed in this thread, so what? Where you gonna use this info?

Even if I knew that this update affected only let's say tech sites, what does it change?

Is it pbn related upded? Maybe thin content or link velocity? Guess posts or 301? Maybe other things? These are the questions I care, so they would help me to sort things out...

All niches got affected. As from my side I did not used PBNs, thin content, guest posts or 301. Some websites went up, other went down. As I said previously, Google is flipping the coin. All it does is A/B test.

Once again, just because you do not understand the concept of something doesn't mean it's useless. But I see it's not the first time you get this comment (https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/gsc-and-expired-domain-backlinks-question.1120041/#post-12061943 ). Good luck Mr I know everything.
