Success..At Last..Please Read

Congratulation! I agreed there is no shortcut. One have to do the basic like walk before trying to run. Unfortunately, most people hoping to fly before they can walk. This only continue to make the "guru" rich by selling the "flying" method ebooks. But how many people can "fly"?
Like I said before...this is the best forum on the Internet...but I found myself spending a little too much time (Ok a lot too much) going through the Downloads section and organizing my downloads folder so that I could one day systematically watch and learn all of the material and test each and every tool I downloaded.
Well it turned out that I used about 10% of what I gathered, and even that 10% took me countless hours to get through. I will tell you this if it were not for this forum, I would have spent upwards of 10000 dollars in "training" materials and would have never, ever made a damn cent. That is a fact. As a new guy in this game, I know for a fact that I would have at least bought into a few of the bullshit offers it weren't for reviews by the mods, some "Trial" downloads (Extended Trials as I call them), and most importantly the advice of fellow members (both vets and new guys alike).
Everything turned around for me when I finally decided to get back to the basics and treat this like a real business. Having owned businesses since I was young, I finally realized that this was no different. The end goal is to make a sustainable and PREDICTABLE income while working online. So if you take a step back and get back to the brick and mortar building blocks of what works online, this business model is most certainly feasible.
Again, with this new motivation I still had only other peoples products to sell. This, in my mind, leaves the predictability of my income lower than I would like. I need full control here as I would in an offline business. So I went around and re-evaluated all of the tools I have bought into and paid for over the last few months. Low and behold I saw that these tools could use a little twist, or perhaps I could create a method based on a few of the products, or hey maybe I could even improve the product and release my own version. This is where the outsourcing came in handy. Even though I do program in PHP, many of the scripts I wanted to replicate and improve would have taken far too long to complete.
So I went out and hired some PHP programmers and told them exactly what I needed and since I used the products for so long I knew them inside and out. If you have an idea, and want to roll with it but feel it is "too complex" I would still go for it. You could have a time of 5 PHP pro's programming for you for less than 8 dollars an hour! If anybody has some ideas for a project, but just cannot afford it or get it mapped out or off the ground, please shoot me a PM as I am legitimately looking for a joint venture to expand my horizons. I already have the guys waiting in the wings for projects, and I have 5 or 6 still on paper.

Haha as a guy who's been lurking here off and on for the last few months, this has to be one of the best posts I've found.
Don't get me wrong, I'm every so grateful for all the tips, articles, tools, and ebooks; but this is just downright inspiring. Makes me want to stop lurking and start doing.

I am happy this has had a positive effect on you. As it is with many things in life getting back to the basics usually has an astounding effect on ones goals. Things get so complicated, so fast and I for one have at least 30 or so domains that I do not, and have not ever used before.
All of these came as a result of fad methods, and false ebook promises. They serve as a reminder that 3 useful and well thought out websites have given me more success then those 30 that I have let sit and collect dust.

Could you please PM in regard to the "thesaurus"implementation that you have working.

The thesaurus extension method came as a result of a lot of rewrites. Whenever i rewrite an article, I come across words that I simply would like to see but that were not included.
I always add the words I would like to have in the future to the word lists. Just right click in the respective replacement word box, and click "Add Word" (or something along those lines). This takes a while, but just settling for the base thesaurus is something that is not recommended.

Well I guess I did work harder for a while there, but now I work smarter because of it

The last question always is are you willing to give away your entire Article Marketing outline to a freelancer? I for one, am not willing to do this.

That is exactly what this thread is all about. Since writing this thread, things have only gotten better, and I do not expect them to stop working.
By sticking to the basics I have almost guaranteed that my sites will be there for the long run. The KISS methodology really does work for internet marketing and the like.

I know the feeling.. Congrats dude! I am working on a big project right now but i cant tell anyone about it yet. However when its done i will write something to tell everyone about my journey!
Your right though about reading books and going other methods. Think "BIG" people!! and stop selling yourself short! Here is an example...
The best advice to follow is other peoples examples! Not chasing other peoples products!

Gross that was an excellent post. Most of the people don't care about sustainable income, and they don't consider IM as a real business. That's why many people spend tons of time on creating unique graphics and content for their site, that could be created by some cheap design service provider and some freelance writers. The time these people spend on building their websites is wasted time as they didn't spend that time on promoting their websites. Without promotion there is no traffic, and without traffic there is no income.

Granted, I feel that one should strive to put together some "operating income" through small and less long term endeavors, but this should not last forever. I feel that all of my initial efforts built the foundation (both monetarily and experience) for what is coming next for me.
There are big things on the horizon, and it is only because there are so many products out there that can be IMPROVED.... So what if you cant think of a brand new and unreleased idea...there are literally hundreds of CURRENT ideas you can improve upon...
I love the ebooks that claim you will make "4,000 a day within 30 days"...the only f'n person who MIGHT make 4000 is that asshole who made it.... anyways I am done ranting...

Are you using blogs to do this, such as wordpress? Or just standard HTML pages? And about how often do you add a new article? And if I read correctly, you are sending users to referral programs such as products supported through ClickBank?
Essentially it sounds like finding a niche market is the most important thing to do...

I've tried craigslist and elance and have had mixed results. Most people provide slow, or low quality service. I ask them to complete a small task first for a couple bucks as a tryout, and many ask for money up front, take the money and leave. It's only 5-10 dollars, so it's no big deal, but it's still annoying. Btw, I hate delhi craigslist.... thieving indians...

@Invinceable: I use wordpress in conjunction with every single site I make. Without it, I find that getting indexed just is not nearly as easy The most important part in my strategy is the "cross linking" between the blog and root site. Each and every post has references to the relevant main site. As for adding articles...I get at least 2-3 articles written for me in a week, on varying topics.
I am in the middle of like 4-5 projects at the moment so these articles vary when it comes to topic. The clickbank products I support are 100% supported through article marketing. All of the backlinks gained from my previous efforts are now paying off ten fold in the organic SERP's. I have also made a sale or two on people who follow my links right from the article.
I think finding a niche is the easiest part...I mean the way I see it, if you are confident in your skills why should one scurry off to find a remote and micro targeted niche? Why cant one just improve upon what is out there in a particular niche? The truth is...it is all open source. Everything is their in front of our faces.. I mean if you want to see what might be working in a niche...why not just take a look at the paid listings. I always take the top 10, take notes about them and go forward from there attacking flaws and making my site better. The key point to remember here is I do not fear competition, I embrace it...
If you are doing something better than me, it is my job to find out and out do you...simple as that.

Think about it, on article you had written, depending on the product or keyword you are promoting can help you three fold. First, the all important backlink(s)...these have gotten me some awesome organic SERP success....2 - the occasional direct sale from the article...and third...the staying power of an article..Articles are like cockroaches they are around for a long time...if you have a well written article (not some broken english shitbox article) people will use it on their sites and it will succeed over time. There is no avoiding that..
Having said all of that I will get back to the freelancer issue at hand.... when choosing one make the interview process a little more in depth. I treat it like a job interview I Want the top notch and most reliable worker for the long haul. I make it clear in the project title...LONG TERM Article Author needed ASAP. That says a lot..I need an article writer for a while not just for the short term here... so lets say I get 10 responses (typical) I then go on to find out how many of the 10 would be willing to write/rewrite a sample paragraph or two for me...those who say no are out Then I move on to the questioning process...and finally I have my writer.
Luckily I have only had to do this twice... but it is a formula that I know for sure will work... if they want my long term business they will do what I ask in the short interview process... remember you are the one in demand (the client) not them..there are simply more of them than you.
Well I hope this helps everyone who asked a question, and as for earnings...yes I plan on taking my earning well into the 1000's within a year or two. The new projct that I have on the horizon will help to make sure of this
